Badredine Bouanani (born 8 December 2004) is a professional footballer currently playing as a forward for club Lorient on loan from Nice. Born in France, he plays for the Algeria national team. Club career Born in Lille, France, Bouanani started his career with local side US Ronchin before joining Lille in 2011. Having progressed through the youth ranks, he was named by English newspaper ''The Guardian'' as one of the best players born in 2004 worldwide in October 2021. During his time with Lille, he was seen as the best player to come through their academy since Eden Hazard. In April 2022, it was rumoured that Bouanani would sign for Nice when his contract with Lille expired. In July of the same year, he made the switch to Nice. The 2021–22 Championnat National 3 is the fifth season of the fifth tier in the French football league system in its current format. The competition is normally contested by 168 clubs split geographically across 12 groups of 14 teams, but this season will have 169 clubs due to the administrative relegaton of Gazélec Ajaccio. The teams include amateur clubs (although a few are semi-professional) and the reserve teams of professional clubs. The Mediterranean Games is a multi-sport event organised by the International Committee of Mediterranean Games (CIJM). The UEFA Europa Conference League (abbreviated as UECL) is an annual football club competition organised by the Union of European Football Associations (UEFA) for eligible European football clubs.
