Badr Benoun (also spelt as Badr Banoune; ar, بدر بانون; born 30 September 1993) is a Moroccan professional footballer who plays as a centre-back for Qatar Stars League club Qatar SC and the Morocco national team. He is nicknamed "Sultan". He started his professional career playing for Raja CA. Club career The beginning of the march Benoun started his career playing for Raja Club Athletic. He won his first trophy with the club after finishing 1st in the 2012–13 Botola. He was loaned out to Wydad de Fès to gain more playing time and experience. He played a total of 16 games before being loaned out again to RS Berkane. In 2015 he was called back to the club. Raja CA Benoun's return bought excitement back to the Raja fans. The 2019–20 Arab Club Champions Cup, officially named the 2019–20 Mohammed VI Champions Cup ( ar, كأس محمد السادس للأندية الأبطال 2019–20) after Mohammed VI of Morocco, where the final was hosted, was the 29th season (not including 1990) of the Arab World's inter-club football tournament organised by UAFA.
