Baden railway station (german: Bahnhof Baden) serves the municipality of Baden, in the canton of Aargau, Switzerland. Opened in 1847, it is owned and operated by SBB-CFF-FFS. The station forms part of the Bözberg railway line, which links Basel with Zürich. It is also on the Zürich–Baden railway and the Baden–Aarau railway, which both form part of the original line connecting Zürich and Olten. Basel SBB railway station (german: Bahnhof Basel SBB, or in earlier times ''Centralbahnhof'' or ''Schweizer Bahnhof'') is the central railway station in the city of Basel, Switzerland. Bad Zurzach
Bad Zurzach is a former municipality in the district of Zurzach in the canton of Aargau in Switzerland. It is the seat of the district. On 1 January 2022 the former municipalities of Bad Zurzach, Baldingen, Böbikon, Kaiserstuhl, Rekingen, Rietheim, Rümikon and Wislikofen merged into the new municipality of Zurzach. Bad Zurzach was previously known as Zurzach; the population voting for the official name change in a referendum of 21 May 2006. Waldshut-Tiengen (; gsw, label=Alemannic, Waldshuet-Düenge, italic=no), commonly known as Waldshut, is a city in southwestern Baden-Württemberg right at the Swiss border. Lenzburg railway station (german: Bahnhof Lenzburg) is a railway station in the municipality of Lenzburg in the Swiss canton of Aargau. The station is located on the Heitersberg line, part of the Zurich to Olten main line, to the west of the junction with the Rupperswil–Immensee line and to the east of the junction with the Zofingen–Wettingen line. Langenthal
Langenthal is a town and a municipality in the district of Oberaargau in the canton of Bern in Switzerland. On 1 January 2010 the municipality of Untersteckholz merged into the Langenthal. On 1 January 2021 the former municipality of Obersteckholz merged into Langenthal. Langenthal is an educational, cultural, and economic center for the region of Oberaargau. History Archeological evidence suggests that early settlements existed around 4000 B.C. in the Langenthal area. A Hallstatt necropolis with twelve grave mounds has been found at Unterhard. Remnants of two Roman villae have also been identified. RegioExpress
RegioExpress (RE) is a fast regional train service in Switzerland, run by Swiss Federal Railways (SBB CFF FFS) or other railway companies (such as TILO, BLS, tpf, transN, THURBO or RhB). It is comparable to the Regional-Express in Germany, Austria and Luxembourg. Its speed is considerably faster than regional trains at the same level, as it does not stop at all stations served by the regional trains. Nonetheless, it is slightly slower than InterRegio trains. Swiss Federal Railways describes the trains as ones that serve "rapidly into the regions". Until the 2003 timetable overhaul (December 2002 to December 2003), the RegioExpress was limited in circulation. The station is located underneath the ''Airport Centre'', the main ground-side passenger terminal of the airport, which is in the canton of Zürich and the municipality of Kloten. History When Zürich Airport first opened in 1948, the nearest railway was the single-track line from Oerlikon to Effretikon, forming a loop off the original main line of the Zürich to Winterthur line.
