''Bad Man's Bluff'' is a 1926 American silent Western film directed by Alan James and starring Jay Wilsey, Molly Malone and Frank Whitson. Alan James (March 23, 1890 – December 30, 1952) was an American film director and screenwriter. He directed more than 70 films between 1916 and 1943. He also wrote for more than 60 films between 1916 and 1951. He was born in Port Townsend, Washington, and died in Hollywood, California. Wilbur McGaugh (March 12, 1895–January 31, 1965) was an American film actor of the silent era, appearing mostly in westerns. He also directed five films. He also worked extensively as an assistant director in film and television. McGaugh's career changed with the coming of sound films. Robert McKenzie (September 22, 1880 – July 8, 1949) was an Irish-born American film actor. He appeared in more than 310 films between 1915 and 1946. McKenzie was married to the actress Eva McKenzie until his death from a heart attack in 1949. The two appeared as husband and wife in The Three Stooges' film '' The Yoke's on Me''.
