BMW R1200R
The BMW R1200R is a Types of motorcycles#Standard, standard motorcycle introduced in 2006 by BMW Motorrad. It replaces the BMW R1150R, R1150R, compared with which it has a weight saving and 28% increase in power. For model year 2015, a completely new R1200R with the same liquid/air-cooled engine as the 2014/2015 BMW R1200RT, R1200RT, but weighing 100 pounds less, was introduced. For the 2019 Model Year, the R1200R was succeeded by the R1250R. The R1250R features a newer dual cam profile engine and has a TFT display. The BMW R1200RT is a touring or sport touring motorcycle that was manufactured from 2005 to 2019 by BMW Motorrad to replace the R1150RT model. BMW's motorcycle history began in 1921 when the company commenced manufacturing engines for other companies. BMW's own motorcycles—sold under the BMW Motorrad brand—began in 1923 with the BMW R 32, which was powered by a flat-twin engine (also called a "boxer-twin" engine). BMW R1150R
The BMW R1150R is a standard (or roadster) motorcycle made by BMW Motorrad from 2001 through 2005, the successor to the R 1100 R that had been discontinued in 1999. The R 1150 R was marketed as a road going motorcycle suited for general commuting as well as sports touring. In 2006 it was succeeded by the R 1200 R. Compared to the related R 1150 RT touring motorcycle, the R 1150 RS sport-touring bike, and the R 1150 GS dual-sport (or adventure) bike, the R or 'roadster' version was the non-specialist, aimed at the 'all-rounder' niche, emphasizing balanced traits, and versatility. Types Of Motorcycles

Flat Engine
A flat engine is a piston engine where the cylinders are located on either side of a central crankshaft. Flat engines are also known as horizontally opposed engines, however this is distinct from the less common opposed-piston engine design, whereby each cylinder has two pistons sharing a central combustion chamber. The most common configuration of flat engines is the boxer engine configuration, in which the pistons of each opposed pair of cylinders move inwards and outwards at the same time. The other configuration is effectively a V engine with a 180-degree angle between the cylinder banks; in this configuration each pair of cylinders shares a single crankpin, so that as one piston moves inward, the other moves outward. BMW R1200ST
The BMW R1200ST is a sport touring motorcycle, which was introduced in 2005 by BMW Motorrad to replace the R1150RS model. The R1200ST features the same flat-twin engine, a six-speed gearbox and shaft drive as the BMW R1200RT, R1200RT. Though similar in specification to the RT, the ST is a sport-oriented motorcycle, with clip-on style handle bars, lighter fairing, resulting in an overall lighter weight than the RT. Luggage, in the form of Motorcycle accessories#Panniers (saddlebags), panniers and a top box (or case) were available options. ABS braking was also an option for this model.
