BMW CCA Foundation
The BMW Car Club of America Foundation was formed in 2002 by the BMW Car Club of America to benefit BMW owners, enthusiasts, and the general public. As a 501(c)(3) non-profit charity, the Foundation operates a museum, library, and archives and a teen safe driving educational program. The foundation focuses on two programs: *The Library, Archives, and Museum Program *The Teen Driver Safety Program (Street Survival) The Museum, Library, and Archives The BMW CCA Foundation Museum displays a collection of Vintage BMW Cars, Motorcycles, and artifacts on a rotating basis. BMW Car Club Of America
The BMW Car Club of America (BMW CCA) is a U.S.-based organization of enthusiasts and owners of BMW-made automobiles (including MINI). Organized into five regions and 69 chapters, the club boasts more than 55,000 active members within the United States, making it the largest BMW owner/enthusiast organization in the world. Tire Rack
Tire Rack was a privately owned customer-direct tire, wheels, car accessories distributor company headquartered in South Bend, Indiana until it was acquired by Discount Tire in 2021 and continued to operate Tire Rack as a separate business and brand name. History In 1979, automotive parts and service business owner Peter "Pete" Veldman came up with his business idea for the Tire Rack after his son-in-law Mike Joines was frustrated when he couldn't find tires for his Opel Manta sports coupe. Mike recommended that they start a mail-order tire company that stocked a few of every tire. Although Pete convinced Mike to help him open a retail store instead, they had so many phone orders that they eventually shut down the retail location and opened more phone lines.
