BEC Recordings
BEC (Brandon Ebel Company) Recordings is a Christian rock record label that is an imprint of Tooth & Nail Records. The label was formed in 1997 in partnership with the EMI Christian Music Group. The label promotes bands with more adult Christian rock sound than Tooth & Nail Records or Solid State Records, which concentrate on heavy metal, punk, and alternative rock. BEC's roster includes Jeremy Camp, KJ-52, Kutless, and Hawk Nelson. Uprok Records, a former imprint of Tooth & Nail, lists its catalog under BEC. Tooth & Nail Records
Tooth & Nail Records is a Christian rock record label founded by Brandon Ebel in California in November 1993. The label later moved to Seattle, Washington where it is situated today. It is home to many well-known musical acts, including Underoath, Hawk Nelson, Emery, The Almost, FM Static, Family Force 5, Anberlin, and MxPx. Tooth & Nail's first album released was Wish for Eden's ''Pet the Fish'', which was produced by Michael Knott and originally slated to be released by Blonde Vinyl. Subsequent releases from The Juliana Theory, MxPx, and Starflyer 59 made Tooth & Nail a strong force in Christian music circles, as well as a niche underground subculture in itself. Ashes Remain
Ashes Remain is an American Christian rock band, formed in 2001 and based in Baltimore, Maryland. The band was founded by Josh Smith and Ryan Nalepa. While they released two albums in their first six years, the band is popularly known for its third album, ''What I've Become'', which was released in 2011. They have released four albums, ''Lose the Alibis'' (2003), ''Last Day Breathing'' (2007), ''What I've Become'' (2011), and ''Let the Light In'' (2017), two EPs, ''Red Devotion'' (2009) and ''Christmas EP'' (2012) and two non-album singles, "Separated" (2004) and "Here For a Reason" (2014). Jon Micah Sumrall
Jon Micah Sumrall (born October 13, 1980) is an American musical performer and lead vocalist of the Christian rock band Kutless. He occasionally plays acoustic guitar and piano for the band as well. Sumrall has been a member of Kutless since he started the band with James Mead and Ryan Shrout in 2001. It began as the worship band, Call Box, while Sumrall was still in college. He released, ''Faith & Family'', with BEC Recordings, in 2015. He is the band's only remaining founding member and one of two members to appear on every album, the other being rhythm guitarist James Mead. Early life Sumrall grew up in a Christian home. Shuree
Shuree Rivera (born June 21, 1978, as Shuree Danyell Lee Jennings), who goes by the stage name Shuree, is an American Christian musician. Her first extended play released by a label, ''Be the Change'', was released in 2014 by BEC Recordings. The song, "Be the Change", charted on the ''Billboard'' magazine Christian Airplay chart. She was featured on '' Invader Volume 1'', with the song, "In This Together", and this charted on the ''Billboard'' magazine Christian AC/CHR chart alongside the Christian Airplay chart. Nine Lashes is an American Christian rock band from Birmingham, Alabama formed in 2006. Dustin Michael Kensrue (pronounced KENZ-roo) is a musician, singer and songwriter. He is the lead vocalist and rhythm guitarist in the rock band Thrice, as well as a solo artist. Career 2007: Please Come Home On October 10, 2006, it was announced that Kensrue had signed with Equal Vision Records, and that the label would release Kensrue's debut solo album. On January 23, 2007, Kensrue released a solo album titled ''Please Come Home'' on Equal Vision Records. Kings Kaleidoscope
Kings Kaleidoscope is an American rock band based in Seattle, fronted by Chadwick "Chad" Gardner. Their music features an eclectic range of electronic, woodwind, string and brass instruments, with a musical style described as indie rock meets hip hop production with a sprinkle of Disney.
