Børt-Erik Thoresen (5 May 1932 – 10 April 2011) was a Norwegian television host and folk singer. He hosted musical programmes for the Norwegian Broadcasting Corporation from 1968 to the late 1980s. He also released several records. Thoresen was born in Dombås. Dombås
is a village or small town in Dovre Municipality in northern Innlandet county, Norway. The village serves as the commercial centre for the upper Gudbrandsdalen valley. It lies at an important junction of roads with the European route E6 highway heading north and south connecting the cities of Oslo and Trondheim and the European route E136 highway heading west to Åndalsnes. The Dovrebanen and Raumabanen railway lines meet in the village at Dombås Station as well. Dombås Church is located in the village. Aase Nordmo Løvberg (10 June 192325 January 2013) was a Norwegian opera soprano. ''Dagbladet'' called her "one of Norway's greatest opera singers." For many years she sang with Jussi Björling at the Royal Opera in Stockholm, and she also sang under renowned conductors such as Herbert von Karajan and Georg Solti. Early life Løvberg was born in Målselv, Troms in 1923. Her family were farmers. Career Løvberg made her professional début in Oslo in 1948 at the University of Oslo. She sang at the Concert Hall in Stockholm during the 1952 Olympics. That year, she moved to Stockholm, where she would live until the 1970.
