Bytkiv
Bytkiv (; ) is an urban-type settlement in Nadvirna Raion, Ivano-Frankivsk Oblast, Ukraine. It belongs to Pasichna rural hromada, one of the hromadas of Ukraine. The population was Location Bytkiv is located 12 kilometers west of Nadvirna between the Bystrytsia of Nadvirna and the Bystrytsia of Solotvyn Rivers in the northeastern part of the Gorgany mountain range. History Between 1772 and 1918 it was part of Austrian Galicia. After the end of World War I Bytkiv became part of Nadvirna Powiat in Stanisławów Voivodeship, part of Poland. In 1939 it was annexed by the Soviet Union. In 1940 it became an urban-type settlement. Bitkiv was occupied by German troops during World War II from 1941 to 1944, part of the District of Galicia. Nadvirna
Nadvírna, also referred to as ''Nadwirna'' or ''Nadvorna'' ( uk, Надві́рна, pl, Nadwórna, yi, נאַדוואָרנאַ, ''Nadvorna'') is a city located in Ivano-Frankivsk Oblast in western Ukraine. It is the administrative centre of Nadvirna Raion. Nadvirna hosts the administration of Nadvirna urban hromada, one of the hromadas of Ukraine. Population: . From the mid-14th century until 1772 (see Partitions of Poland) Nadvirna, known in Polish as Nadwórna, was part of the Kingdom of Poland. Bohdan Beniuk ( uk, Богдан Михайлович Бенюк; born 26 May 1957) is a Ukrainian actor of theater and cinema, politician, People's Artist of Ukraine (1996). Along with Anatoliy Khostikoiev, he is a creator of the Theatrical company Beniuk and Khostikoiev. Biography Beniuk was born on May 26, 1957, in town of Bytkiv, Nadvirna Raion, Ukrainian SSR. He has two brothers: People's Artist of Ukraine Petro Beniuk and Vasyl Beniuk. Bohdan Beniuk graduated the National University of Theatre, Film and TV in Kyiv in 1978. In 1978-80 he worked in the Kyiv theater of young viewer. After that, Beniuk was an actor of the Franko National Academic Drama Theater in Kyiv. Stanisławów Voivodeship ( pl, Województwo stanisławowskie) was an administrative district of the interwar Poland (1920–1939).
