Byron Rimm II
Byron Newton Rimm II (born January 30, 1974) is an American college basketball coach, more recently the interim head men's basketball coach at IUPUI. Coaching career Rimm is a 1999 graduate of Cal State Los Angeles and lettered in basketball as a junior in the 1996–97 season after transferring from Ventura College. In his one season at Cal State Los Angeles, Rimm averaged 4.7 points per game in 19 games. While completing his studies at Cal State Los Angeles, Rimm served as a junior college basketball assistant coach, first at Pasadena City College in 1997 then at Chaffey College. Rimm was head men's basketball coach at Prairie View A&M from the 2006–07 season until resigning on January 27, 2016. On October 12, 2016, Texas A&M–Corpus Christi men's basketball head coach Willis Wilson hired Rimm as director of basketball operations. Houston Baptist Huskies Men's Basketball
The Houston Christian Huskies men's basketball team, known as the Houston Baptist Huskies until 2022, represents Houston Christian University in Houston, Texas, in NCAA Division I men's basketball competition. The team is coached by Ron Cottrell. The Huskies competed as members of the Trans America Athletic Conference from 1978 to 1989. After their departure from the TAAC, the Huskies went on a two year hiatus before returning to the NAIA. HBU competed in the NAIA from 1991–2008. Willis Thomas Wilson Jr. (born March 22, 1960) is an American basketball coach. He was most recently the head coach of the Texas A&M–Corpus Christi Islanders men's basketball team before retiring in March 2021. He previously served an assistant coach for the Memphis Tigers men's basketball team. Wilson was head men's basketball coach of at Rice University for 16 seasons, from 1992 to 2008.
