Buzu
Carmel Busuttil (born 29 February 1964), nicknamed "Il-Bużu", is a Maltese former professional footballer who played as a striker. Regarded as one of the best Maltese players of all time, he began his career with his hometown club Rabat Ajax winning two Premier League titles, two Super Cups and an FA Trophy. After a year spell with Verbania in Italy, Busuttil joined Genk in 1988. He was a prominent figure in the Belgian side, where he served as club captain and was the team's top scorer for three consecutive seasons. Busuttil returned to Malta to join Sliema Wanderers where he won another Premier League title. He finished off his career in 2001 as one of the highest goalscorers in Premier League history with 93 goals. At international level, Busuttil made his debut for the Maltese national team in 1982. Rabat, Malta
Rabat ( mt, Ir-Rabat, ) is a town in the Northern Region of Malta, with a population of 11,497 as of March 2014. It adjoins the ancient capital city of Mdina, and a north-western area formed part of the Roman city of Melite until its medieval retrenchment. Lolly Borg
Emmanuel Borg, better known as Lolly Borg (23 October 1931 – 10 October 2020) was a Maltese football player and manager. He was the cousin of Lolly Debattista, another famous Maltese player, and he is currently regarded as one of the most representative players of Maltese football, as a one-club man he spent his whole career playing as a forward for Floriana. Career Player Club Borg made his debut on 1947, when he was just 16, coming from Floriana Ajax, a youth team that was annexed by Floriana. The Promozione (, "promotion") is the sixth level in the Italian football league system. Each individual league winner within the Promozione level progresses to their closest regional league in the Eccellenza level. Depending on each league's local rules, a number of teams each year are relegated from each league, to the 7th level of Italian football, the Prima Categoria. Żurrieq F
Żurrieq ( mt, Iż-Żurrieq ) is a town in the Southern Region of Malta. It is one of the oldest towns in the country, and it has a population of 11,823 inhabitants as of March 2014. The first documentation about it being a parish dates back to 1436 dedicated to St. Catherine of Alexandria. The island of Filfla is administratively a part of the town. The town stretches from in Nigret to Ħal Far respectively in old times the town was a border with Żejtun. There are a number of villages forming part of Żurrieq. Adelmo Paris (born 1954 in Cambiasca, Italy) was a professional footballer and Italian football coach. Playing career Paris joined Verbania in Serie C and then moved to Bologna, in which he won the Italian Cup (Coppa Italia) in season 1973-74. He made his Serie A debut with Bologna in a 2–1 loss to Vicenza on 10 February 1974. After a year with Brescia he returned to Bologna, and gained promotion to Serie B in 1983-84. During 1984-86, he joined Żurrieq, playing in the Maltese Premier League and helping Żurrieq win the Maltese Cup in 1985. The Rabat Ajax Football Ground is the training ground of Maltese football team Rabat Ajax F.C. and is located in the town of Mtarfa. It is also the premises of the Rabat Ajax Football Nursery. It is built on the foundations of the Imtarfa Parade Ground, one of the first football grounds on the island.
