Butyrskaya (Moscow Metro)
Butyrskaya (russian: Бутырская) is a Moscow Metro station of Lyublinsko-Dmitrovskaya Line. It is located between Maryina Roshcha and Fonvizinskaya, at the intersection of Rustaveli Street and Ogorodny Proyezd, close to Ostankino railway station. It has one island platform. There are 250 active stations of the Moscow Metro. Of these, 209 on Moscow Metro proper, and some additional ones that are marketed by Moscow Metro: 6 stations of Moscow Monorail and 31 stations of the Moscow Central Circle. Petrovsko-Razumovskaya
Petrovsko-Razumovskaya (russian: Петровско-Разумовская) is a Moscow Metro station in Timiryazevsky District of the Northern Administrative Okrug of Moscow. The station opened on 7 March 1991 as a part of a major northern extension of the Serpukhovsko-Timiryazevskaya Line; the Lyublinsko-Dmitrovskaya Line was extended to terminate there on 16 September 2016. Petrovsko-Razumovskaya has exits to Dmitrovskoye Highway and also provides transfer to a commuter station of the same name on Leningradsky suburban railway line, which serves destinations to the north-west of Moscow. The daily passenger flow is about 80,000. On the Serpukhovsko-Timiryazevskaya Line, the station is between Vladykino and Timiryazevskaya stations. Butyrka Prison
Butyrskaya prison ( rus, Бутырская тюрьма, r= Butýrskaya tyurmá), usually known simply as Butyrka ( rus, Бутырка, p=bʊˈtɨrkə), is a prison in the Tverskoy District of central Moscow, Russia. In Imperial Russia it served as the central transit prison. During the Soviet Union era (1917-1991) it held many political prisoners. Butyrka remains the largest of Moscow's remand prisons. Overcrowding is an ongoing problem. History The first references to Butyrka prison may be traced back to the 17th century. The current building was erected in 1879 near the Butyrsk gate (, or Butyrskaya zastava) on the site of a prison-fortress which had been built by the architect Matvei Kazakov during the reign of Catherine the Great. Butyrsky District (russian: Бутырский райо́н) is an administrative district (raion) of North-Eastern Administrative Okrug, and one of the 125 raions of Moscow, Russia. It is 6 km north of the Moscow city center, located just outside the third ring road, with Timiryazevsky District to the west and Marfino District and Maryina roshcha District to the east. Maryina Roshcha (russian: Марьина роща) is a Moscow Metro station of Lyublinsko-Dmitrovskaya line. It opened on 19 June 2010 and, until 2016, was the northern terminus of the line.
