Buttoned Down Disco
Buttoned Down Disco was a large and long-running indie and electro clubnight that was established in London in 2002 by Christian Laing and Rachel Laing. While Christian served as the resident DJ and promoter, Rachel was responsible for the clubnight's branding, marketing, and technology. Following Rachel's resignation in 2019, Christian took over the management of the event until 2022 when it closed, having run for exactly 20 years. Buttoned Down Disco has hosted parties in more than 50 different London venues and received extensive coverage from leading publications such as The Guardian, The Independent and The Times. The first night was in October 2002. The location of the club was revealed after an electronic invitation was requested. A pioneering concept at the time. KOKO (previously called The Music Machine and Camden Palace) is a concert venue and former theatre in Camden Town, London, England. The building was known as Camden Palace from 1982 until its 2004 purchase and extensive restoration, led by Oliver Bengough and Mint Entertainment. Since, the club has been known as KOKO and is one of the premier live music venues in London. On the evening of 6 January 2020, a large fire broke out in the building. Lovebox Festival
Lovebox is a three-day music festival. In 2018 the event moved to Gunnersbury Park, London. The move came after Tower Hamlets turned down its application to continue in Victoria Park and Lambeth residents objected to its move to Brockwell Park. The 2019 event had a capacity of 50,000. The event has been running since 2002 and was founded by DJs Groove Armada. During this time, Lovebox has also hosted events in Newcastle, Dublin and Ibiza as well as numerous parties and club nights. Reading And Leeds Festivals
The Reading and Leeds Festivals are a pair of annual music festivals that take place in Reading and Leeds in England. The events take place simultaneously on the Friday, Saturday and Sunday of the August bank holiday weekend. The Reading Festival is held at Little John's Farm on Richfield Avenue in central Reading, near Caversham Bridge. The Leeds event is held in Bramham Park, near Wetherby, the grounds of a historic house. Latitude Festival
The Latitude Festival is an annual music festival that takes place in Henham Park, near Southwold, Suffolk, England. It was first held in July 2006 and has been held every year since, apart from 2020, when it was cancelled due to the COVID-19 pandemic.
