Busted (Cheap Trick Album)
''Busted'' is the eleventh studio album released by Cheap Trick, which was released in 1990 and peaked at number 44 on the US album charts. After the success of "The Flame" from the previous album ''Lap of Luxury'', the band recorded ''Busted'' with a similar format, especially on the single " Can't Stop Fallin' into Love." The single peaked at number 12 on the US charts. The album failed to be as successful as the label had hoped, and about a year after the release of ''Busted'', Epic Records dropped the band. Background Guest musicians on the album include Mick Jones of the band Foreigner (guitar on "If You Need Me"), Chrissie Hynde from Pretenders (vocals on "Walk Away"), and Russell Mael of Sparks (vocals on "You Drive, I'll Steer"). Poco
Poco was an American country rock band originally formed in 1968 after the demise of Buffalo Springfield. Guitarists Richie Furay and Jim Messina, former members of Buffalo Springfield, were joined by multi-instrumentalist Rusty Young, bassist Randy Meisner, and drummer George Grantham. Meisner quit the band whilst they were recording their first album, '' Pickin' Up the Pieces'', though his bass and backing vocal parts were kept in the final mix. He was replaced by Timothy B. Schmit in 1969, and Messina left in 1970 to be replaced by Paul Cotton. The line-up would change numerous times over the next several decades, with Rusty Young being the only constant member. A reunion of the founding members occurred in the late 1980s-early 1990s, and the band has continued in some form through 2021, though they retired from active touring in 2013, with Young citing health concerns as the primary cause of his retirement. The A-side and B-side are the two sides of phonograph records and cassettes; these terms have often been printed on the labels of two-sided music recordings. The A-side usually features a recording that its artist, producer, or record company intends to be the initial focus of promotional efforts and radio airplay and hopefully become a hit record. The B-side (or "flip-side") is a secondary recording that typically receives less attention, although some B-sides have been as successful as, or more so than, their A-sides. Use of this language has largely declined in the 21st century as the music industry has transitioned away from analog recordings towards digital formats without physical sides, such as CDs, downloads and streaming. ''All Shook Up'' is the fifth studio album by American rock band Cheap Trick. Released in 1980, it was produced by former The Beatles producer George Martin. It was the first studio album since their debut to be produced by someone other than Tom Werman. Overview ''All Shook Up'' was even quirkier than its predecessor, the platinum-selling ''Dream Police''. Many of its songs were less radio friendly and more experimental, and the cover art, influenced by René Magritte's ''Time Transfixed'', led many to question what the band was trying to accomplish. Found All The Parts
''Found All the Parts'' is an EP released by Cheap Trick in 1980. It was released on a 10-inch disc as part of Epic Records' short-lived Nu-Disk series. The EP also contained a bonus promotional 7" single of "Everything Works If You Let It". ''Found All the Parts'' was re-issued in 12-inch format in 1983. "Day Tripper" was not actually recorded live. While the band had recorded a live cover of the song, they did not like the way it had turned out. It was rerecorded in the studio with the live crowd from the original track added in. "Can't Hold On" was from the Budokan concert in 1978 and has since been included on the ''Budokan II'' and ''Cheap Trick at Budokan: The Complete Concert'' albums. "Such a Good Girl" and "Take Me I'm Yours" were recorded with producer Jack Douglas between December 1979 and January 1980, not 1976 and 1977 as the album claims. ''Standing on the Edge'' is the eighth studio album by the American rock group Cheap Trick, released by Epic in 1985. The album was produced by Jack Douglas, the producer of Cheap Trick's 1977 debut album ''Cheap Trick''. ''Standing on the Edge'' reached No. 35 on the ''Billboard'' 200 and remained on the charts for 18 weeks.
