Bussy-Saint-Georges (Paris RER)
Bussy-Saint-Georges is a railway station on RER train network in Bussy-Saint-Georges, Seine-et-Marne. History Bussy-Saint-Georges station opened on 21 December 1992 on an already existing portion of the line. In fact, trains on line A of the RER used to run without stopping between Torcy and Marne-la-Vallée - Chessy stations since 1 April 1992, start date of the new terminus of the Marne-la-Vallée branch (A4). The objective of this commissioning is to support the development of the new town of Marne-la-Vallée, while serving the agglomeration of Bussy-Saint-Georges which is part of sector 3, known as Val de Bussy, of this new town. The Réseau Express Régional ( en, Regional Express Network), commonly abbreviated RER (), is a hybrid commuter rail and rapid transit system serving Paris and its ÃŽle-de-France, suburbs. It acts as a combined city-centre underground rail system and suburbs-to-city-centre commuter rail. In the city centre it acts much like the Paris Métro, though faster, having fewer stops. This has made it a model for proposals to improve transit within other cities. The network consists of five lines: RER A, A, RER B, B, RER C, C, RER D, D and RER E, E. The network has 257 stations and has interchanges with the Paris Métro, Métro and Transilien, commuter rail within the City of Paris and the suburbs. The Gare de Lyon, officially Paris-Gare-de-Lyon, is one of the six large mainline railway stations in Paris, France. Noctilien
Noctilien is the night bus service in Paris and its agglomeration. It is managed by the Île-de-France Mobilités (formerly the STIF), the Île-de-France regional public transit authority, and operated by RATP (with 32 lines) and Transilien SNCF (with 16 lines). It replaced the previous '' Noctambus'' service on the night of 20/21 September 2005, providing for a larger number of lines than before and claiming to be better adapted to night-time transport needs. Val d'Europe is a railway station on the RER A line in Val d'Europe, the eastmost part of the new town of Marne-la-Vallée. The station's full name is Serris – Montévrain – Val d'Europe, a recognition that the station serves more specifically the communes of Serris and Montévrain.
