''Busker Busker 1st Album'' () is the debut studio album by South Korean indie band Busker Busker. It was released by CJ E&M Music on March 29, 2012. All eleven tracks on the album are written by band member . The album was a commercial success, topping the Gaon Album Chart and selling 100,000 physical copies in two months. The lead single, "Cherry Blossom Ending", was also a chart-topper, and re-enters the charts every spring. Due to the song's continued popularity, the album has also charted every year since release. Background, release and promotion Indie band Busker Busker was the runner-up of the televised talent show '' Superstar K3'' in 2011. Busker Busker () is a South Korean indie band who rose to fame through their runner-up performance in the South Korean music audition television program ''Superstar K3'' on Mnet. The band consists of guitarist and vocalist Jang Beom-june, bassist Kim Hyung-tae and drummer Brad Moore. ''Busker Busker 1st Album'' and its single " Cherry Blossom Ending" were released in March 2012. The band's six-month contract with CJ E&M came to an end in 2012, and they then joined Chungchun Music, releasing ''Busker Busker 2nd Album'' in September 2013. Hahm Eun-jung (born December 12, 1988), known professionally as Eunjung and also Elsie, is a South Korean singer and actress. Yoon Do-hyun (born February 3, 1972) is a South Korean hard rock/folk rock singer, musician, and songwriter. He is the founder and lead vocalist of the Yoon Do-hyun Band (YB) since 1996. Yoon is also an MC on TV variety programs (notably ''Yoon Do-hyun's Love Letter'') and a musical theatre actor. The K-pop Hot 100 is a music singles chart in South Korea, launched by ''Billboard'' in conjunction with ''Billboard'' Korea () on August 25, 2011.
