Burton Borough School
Burton Borough School (often abbreviated as 'BBS') is a coeducational secondary school situated on the southern edge of Newport, Shropshire, England, in Audley Avenue. The school was opened in 1957 and since then has developed steadily. In September 2004 it was designated a Specialist Arts College. The school is named after a local man J.S. Burton Borough, who was a High Sheriff and deputy lieutenant for Shropshire and was the first governor of the school. Development Over the last ten years the school has grown due to the growth of Newport, the school went from 800 to 1,300 pupils and has had to expand and modernise the building. The first large piece of building work was in 1999 when it was decided to expand the music department, by building a new complex fitted with art gallery, large music rooms, small rooms for 'one to one' development, a theatre and external theatre, plus a recording studio. Adam Proudlock
Adam David Proudlock (born 9 May 1981) is an English football manager and former professional footballer. Proudlock played as a striker from 1998 to 2015. He started his career in the Football League with Wolverhampton Wanderers in 1998; he went on to make over 70 league appearances for the club, scoring 13 goals as well as spending time on loan with Clyde, Nottingham Forest, Tranmere Rovers and Sheffield Wednesday. He joined Wednesday permanently in 2003, where he made 50 appearances as well as appearing for Ipswich Town on loan before signing with Stockport County and Darlington. He ended his stay in professional football whilst in a two-year spell with Grimsby Town, in which the club were relegated to the Conference National in 2009–10. David John Pallett (born 8 February 1990) is an English professional darts player playing in Professional Darts Corporation (PDC) events. Career In January 2013, Pallett entered PDC Q School and stood just one match from joining the tour in the second event, but lost 6–5 to Louis Blundell. However, after all four events had been played he had done enough through the Q School Order of Merit to earn a two-year PDC tour card. Pallett qualified for the first European Tour event of the year, the UK Masters and beat top 20 player Paul Nicholson 6–3 in the opening round before losing by a reverse of this scoreline to two-time world champion Adrian Lewis in the second round. He reached the last 16 of a PDC event for the first time in June at the fifth Players Championship where he was beaten 6–3 by Terry Jenkins. Philip Robert Oliver (born 9 May 1956) is a former English cricketer. Oliver was a right-handed batsman who bowled right-arm off break. David Johnson (footballer, Born 1976)
David Anthony Johnson (born 15 August 1976) is a Jamaican former footballer. Born in Kingston, Johnson began his career with English club Manchester United, but was unable to break into the first team and joined Bury on a free transfer in 1995. He later played for Ipswich Town and Nottingham Forest, as well as on loan for Sheffield Wednesday, Burnley and Sheffield United, before a back injury ended his career at the age of 30. He also played international football for the Jamaica national team.
