Knut Erik Jensen (born 8 October 1940 in Honningsvåg, Finnmark) is a Norwegian film director, best known for his documentary ''Cool and Crazy''. Biography After studying French, Russian and history, Jensen attended the London Film School. In 1978, he joined the Norwegian Broadcasting Corporation (NRK), and has since made documentaries and short films for NRK as well as independently. He is known for the documentary ''Cool and Crazy''. Gørild Mauseth (born 24 April 1972) is a Norwegian actress. After graduating from the Norwegian National Academy of Theatre, she has worked at both Den Nationale Scene and Nationaltheatret (the National Theatre). She is best known for her movie and television roles, that include "Deadline Torp" (TV, 2005) and ''Når mørket er forbi'' (Passing Darkness, 2000). In 2001 she was named one of European films' Shooting Stars by the European Film Promotion. Mauseth won the "Best Début" Amanda Award in 1998 for her role in the 1997 movie '' Brent av frost''. Iris Johansen
Iris Johansen (born April 7, 1938) is an American author of crime fiction, suspense fiction, and romance novels. Biography Iris Johansen left a job as an airline reservations agent in the early 1980s to begin writing romance novels. She changed direction slightly and began writing historical romantic suspense novels in 1991 with the publication of ''The Wind Dancer''. Katja Medbøe
Katja Maria Riosianu Medbøe (3 December 1945 – c. 13 November 1996) was a Norway, Norwegian actress. She graduated from the Norwegian National Academy of Theatre in 1968, and acted both at Den Nationale Scene and at the Nationaltheatret, National Theatre. Medbøe was best known for her role in the ''Hustruer''-trilogy (Wives), along with Frøydis Armand and Anne Marie Ottersen. She also released records with poetry readings set to music. In December 1996, Medbøe's sister, Wenche Medbøe, announced that Katja had been missing for three weeks, and made a public appeal for tips. As a result of a head injury she had experienced pain from the stage lighting. On 12 November she had left the hospital and not been seen since. On 3 May 1997, she was found dead in Nordmarkaa forest area north of Oslo. Medbøe had two children. The cause of death was, according to her daughter, Eline Medbøe, suicide. Soviet partisans were members of resistance movements that fought a guerrilla war against Axis forces during World War II in the Soviet Union, the previously Soviet-occupied territories of interwar Poland in 1941–45 and eastern Finland. The activity emerged after Nazi Germany's Operation Barbarossa was launched from mid-1941 on. It was coordinated and controlled by the Soviet government and modeled on that of the Red Army.
