''Burning in the Wind'' ( it, Brucio nel vento) is a 2002 Italian-Swiss romance-drama film written and directed by Silvio Soldini. It is based on the Agota Kristof's short novel ''Hier''. It was entered into the main competition at the 52nd Berlin International Film Festival. For this film Luca Bigazzi won the Nastro d'Argento for best cinematography and the Globo d'oro in the same category. 52nd Berlin International Film Festival
The 52nd annual Berlin International Film Festival was held from February 6 to 17, 2002. The festival opened with ''Heaven'' by Tom Tykwer. New print of Charlie Chaplin's 1940 American satirical dramedy film ''The Great Dictator'' was the closing film of the festival. The Golden Bear was awarded to British–Irish film ''Bloody Sunday'' directed by Paul Greengrass and Japanese Animated film ''Spirited Away'' directed by Hayao Miyazaki. Zuzana Mauréry (born 23 September 1968) is a Slovak actress working in film, television, and on stage, as well as a musical singer. A six-time nominee for national movie awards and a two-time winner of the Sun in a Net Awards, she lives in her hometown of Bratislava. She is also a member of the Slovak movie and television academy. Early life and education Mauréry comes from a family of musicians.
