Burn It Down (band)
Burn It Down was an American metalcore band from Indianapolis, Indiana, whose album, ''Let the Dead Bury the Dead'', was released in 2000 on Escape Artist Records. Produced by Ed Rose (The Get Up Kids, Coalesce), the album garnered a 4 "K" review in ''Kerrang!'' and a 4/5 in ''Alternative Press''. It followed two EPs and a split CD with Racetraitor. Burn It Down toured with Shadows Fall, In Flames, Dillinger Escape Plan and Zao before disbanding. They played their final show at the 2001 Hellfest and a reunion show in 2005. Ryan J. Downey has reported for MTV, MSNBC, Alternative Press, AllMusic and other outlets; and manages bands and producers. John Zeps owns music stores and plays in several bands. Jason McCash was in the doom metal band, The Gates Of Slumber before his death in 2014. Zao () is an American metalcore band founded in Parkersburg, West Virginia and later relocated to Greensburg, Pennsylvania. Founded in March 1993, Zao has hosted several musicians and endured numerous roster changes to the point where no original members remain. Former drummer Jesse Smith (musician), Jesse Smith, vocalist Daniel Weyandt, Dan Weyandt, and guitarists Scott Mellinger and Russ Cogdell are seen by some fans as the "core" of Zao, with the current line up being the longest running in the band's history. Nachtmystium
Nachtmystium was an American psychedelic black metal band formed by Blake Judd, formerly known as Azentrius, and Pat McCormick. The band's name is derived from the German word '' Nacht'' meaning "night", and the made-up term ''mystium'' which resembles the Latin adjective ''mysticum''. Judd and McCormick combined the words to create the band's name, which they state means "Encompassing Darkness". Nachtmystium released multiple critically praised albums between 2005 and 2012, including '' Instinct: Decay'' (2005), '' Assassins: Black Meddle, Part I'' (2008), and '' Silencing Machine'' (2012).
