Bunda District
Bunda is one of the seven districts of Mara Region in the Tanzania, United Republic of Tanzania, East Africa. It is bordered to the north by the Musoma Rural, Musoma Rural District and Butiama District, to the east by Serengeti District, to the south by Bariadi District and Busega District, and to the west by Lake Victoria. The district administration town is also called Bunda, located on the north-south trans-national all tarmac highway from Kenya to Zambia via Tarime and the lakeside municipalities of Musoma, Mwanza, and thereon to Mbeya in southern Tanzania. The district has four divisions: Kenkombyo, Nansimo, Serengeti and Chamuriho. Bunda Town, a small town 70 km south of Musoma and west of the Serengeti National Park, serves as the district's capital. According to the 2012 Tanzania National Census, the population of Bunda District was 335,061. Bunda Station
Bunda Station is a pastoral lease that operates as a cattle station in the Northern Territory of Australia. Situated approximately west of Lajamanu and south west of Daguragu in the Victoria River district. The property was originally part of Inverway Station until it was carved up into Inverway, Bunda and Riveren Stations. Bunda is bounded to the west by Kirkimbie, the south by Wallamunga, the east by Inverway and the north by Limbunya Station. The property currently occupies an area of and is stocked with 13,500 Brahman and Charbray infused cattle. To water stock 22 bores have been sunk. The Underwood family have owned the property since 1956 when it was still part of Inverway Station. Consolidated Pastoral Company acquired the station, adjacent to Kirkimbie which it already owns, in the Victoria River District in the Northern Territory for approximately 15 million in 2014. Robert Bunda
Robert "Bobby" Bunda (born April 25, 1947) is a former Democratic member of the Hawaii Senate, representing the 22nd District from 1994 through 2010, when he resigned his position in an unsuccessful bid for Lieutenant Governor of Hawaii. Previously he was a member of the Hawaii House of Representatives from 1983 through 1994. He is the first Filipino American to attain the presidency of any state legislature in the United States. He attended Ludwigsburg American High School in Stuttgart, Germany, Leilehua High School, Texas Wesleyan College where he earned his Bachelor of Science in 1974, and the University of Dallas for his graduate studies. The 2009 Achievement Award for Public Affairs was conferred to Bunda by ''Filipinas Magazine''. The magazine, self-described as "the Magazine for Filipinos Worldwide" named Bunda as among the "brightest lights" of the Filipino community. Dorce Gamalama
Dorce Gamalama (21 July 1963 – 16 February 2022) was an Indonesian pop singer, actress, presenter, and comedian, who was a trans woman. She was often referred to as "Bunda" ( Indonesian for "Mother"). Early life Dorce Gamalama was born in Solok, West Sumatra, Indonesia, on 21 July 1963, with the name Dedi Yuliardi Ashadi. Her mother Dalifah, a rice seller, died of unknown causes when she was three months old, whereas her father Achmad, a painter and soldier, left home when she was 5 months old and was found dead when she was a year old, leaving her orphaned. Dorce Gamalama was subsequently raised by her grandmother Darama, who introduced her to music while she was still at elementary school. She went on to sing with a group called the Bambang Brothers (BamBros). When she was 5 years old, she moved to the capital city to live with her aunt Dalima. Xi Aquarii (ξ Aquarii, abbreviated Xi Aqr, ξ Aqr) is a binary star system in the equatorial constellation of Aquarius. It is visible to the naked eye with an apparent visual magnitude of 4.7.
