Bunbury Music Festival
The Bunbury Music Festival is a three-day music festival in Cincinnati, Ohio, United States, at Sawyer Point Park & Yeatman's Cove on the banks of the Ohio River. Each annual event typically features over 100 acts performing on three to six separate stages through the park. The festival was founded by MidPoint Music Festival co-founder and former Fountain Square managing director Bill Donabedian. The festival's inaugural event took place July 13–15, 2012. In 2014, Bunbury was purchased by PromoWest Productions, an entertainment company operating out of Columbus, Ohio. The most recent iteration of the event occurred May 31 through June 2, 2019. It has been on hiatus ever since. Sawyer Point Park & Yeatman's Cove
Sawyer Point Park & Yeatman's Cove are a pair of side-by-side parks on the riverfront of downtown Cincinnati, Ohio, United States. The two linear parks stretch one mile along the north shore of the Ohio River. Since 2012, the parks have been the location for the annual Bunbury Music Festival. Yeatman's Cove Yeatman's Cove park occupies the former site of a tavern established in 1793 by Griffin Yeatman. Yeatman's establishment was the first tavern in Cincinnati, and as such was very popular with men working on the river. The park features a colossal bronze statue of Cincinnatus, the namesake of Cincinnati, and is a popular place to watch the Cincinnati Bell/WEBN Riverfest at Labor Day weekend. Tristen (born Tristen Gaspadarek, November 23, 1983) is an American singer-songwriter and musician. She has released five albums: ''Teardrops and Lollipops'' (2008), ''Charlatans at the Garden Gate'' (2011), ''C A V E S'' (2013), ''Sneaker Waves'' (2017), and ''Aquatic Flowers'' (2021). She also performed as a member of Jenny Lewis's live band in 2015. Biography After graduating from De Paul University in 2007, where she studied relational group and organizational theories of communication, she moved to Nashville, Tennessee to immerse herself in its music scene. Graffiti6 is a collaboration founded in London in 2009. Made up of Jamie Scott (songwriter and lead vocals) and Tommy "D" Danvers (producer and songwriter). Graffiti6 are known for their "blend of characterful voice and crisp, intricate groove created from an infectious alliance of electric piano and offbeat guitar". Wheels On Fire are an American garage-pop band formed by John Garris (guitar, vocals), Susan Musser (organ), and brothers Michael (guitar, vocals) and Matthew Chaney (drums) in Athens, Ohio, United States. They have toured the U.S. and Europe extensively and have released records on Chicago's Trouble in Mind, Mississippi's Fat Possum Records, and Germany's Alien Snatch. Currently the band has released three full-lengths and four singles. Manchester Orchestra is an American indie rock band from Atlanta formed in 2004. The group is composed of rhythm guitarist-singer-songwriter Andy Hull, lead guitarist Robert McDowell, bassist Andy Prince and drummer Tim Very. Alberta Cross are an Anglo-Swedish rock band, formed in 2005 in London, England by singer-guitarist Petter Ericson Stakee and bassist Terry Wolfers. The Reverend Peyton's Big Damn Band is a three-piece American country blues band from Brown County, Indiana. They have played up to 250 dates per year at venues ranging from bars to festivals since 2006. Matt Pryor is an American musician who lives in Lawrence, Kansas. He is best known as a founding member and the lead vocalist of The Get Up Kids, one of the most influential acts of the second-wave emo music scene. Early life Matt Pryor was born in Kansas City, Missouri on March 16, 1978. He attended St Peter's Elementary and Bishop Miege High School, where he met his future wife. Madi Diaz (born May 14, 1986) is an American singer-songwriter and musician. Early life Diaz grew up in Lancaster County, Pennsylvania, where she was home-schooled by her Peruvian mother, Nancy, a proponent of early childhood development and the visual arts, and her Danish father, Eric, a woodworker and musician.
