Jimmy Bullock
James Bullock (25 March 1902 – 9 March 1977) was an English professional footballer, who played as a forward who played for various clubs in the 1920s and 1930s. Playing career Bullock was born in Gorton and after spending his early days playing with Gorton he joined Manchester City in March 1922. He failed to break into City's first team and in February 1924 he moved to Crewe Alexandra in Division Three North. After half a season with Crewe he was signed by Division Two Southampton in August 1924. He remained at Southampton for five years during which he was usually only called upon to play in the first team when either Bill Rawlings or Arthur Dominy were unavailable. In his first three seasons at The Dell he only made fifteen appearances including a spell of ten games in the latter half of the 1925–26 season when first Dominy and then Rawlings were unavailable in which Bullock scored four goals, including a brace against Derby County on 10 February 1926. Jeffrey Francis Bullock (born August 12, 1959) is an American academic administrator and the current president of the University of Dubuque, a Presbyterian college in Dubuque, Iowa. He is also an adjunct professor at Seattle Pacific University. Early life Jeffrey Bullock was born in Ames, Iowa, and raised in Omaha/Council Bluffs and Jackson, Minnesota. He is the son of Patricia Spangler Bullock and Robert W. Bullock and is a 4th generation Iowan. Education Bullock graduated from Jackson High School in Jackson, Minnesota, in 1977 and Seattle Pacific University in 1982 with a BA in Sociology. Hiram Law Bullock (September 11, 1955 – July 25, 2008) was an American guitarist known mainly for playing in jazz funk and jazz fusion, but he also worked as a session musician in a variety of genres. Biography Bullock was born in Osaka, Japan, to African American parents serving in the U.S. military. At the age of two he returned to Baltimore, Maryland, with his parents and showed musical talent. He studied piano at the city's Peabody Conservatory of Music, giving his first public performance at the age of six. After playing saxophone and bass guitar, he took up the electric guitar at age sixteen. Bullock attended McDonogh School for Boys in Reisterstown, Maryland. He was captain of the band in middle school. He studied at the University of Miami, where he met guitarists Pat Metheny and Steve Morse, and bass players Jaco Pastorius and Will Lee. Harvey Bullock (born June 4, 1921 in Oxford, North Carolina – died April 24, 2006) was an American television and film writer and producer. His work with R.S. Allen included episodes for ''The Andy Griffith Show'', ''Hogan's Heroes'', ''Love, American Style'', and ''Alice'', along with the films ''Who's Minding the Mint?'', ''With Six You Get Eggroll'' and ''Girl Happy''. He graduated from Duke University with a Bachelor of Arts in English. He served with the US Navy in a special operations unit called "Beach Jumpers" during World War II, writing and transmitting false messages over radio in order to deceive the Nazis. After the war, he served stateside in Hawaii. In 1956, he was married to Betty Jane Folker. Guy Henry Bullock (23 July 1887 – 12 April 1956) was a British diplomat who is best known for his participation in the 1921 British Mount Everest reconnaissance expedition. As expedition mountaineers, he and George Mallory found a northern access route to Everest by climbing the Lhakpa La col above the East Rongbuk Glacier and by going on to reach the North Col at .
