Figarden, California
Figarden (formerly, Bullard and Fig Garden) was an unincorporated community in Fresno County, California. It is located northwest of downtown Fresno, at an elevation of 315 feet (96 m). A post office operated at Figarden from 1925 to 1944, moving in 1939, and from 1947 to 1951. In the early twentieth century, Figarden was a center of fig cultivation and a number of fig varieties were originated there. Bullard is an unincorporated community in Twiggs County, Georgia, Twiggs County, in the U.S. state of Georgia (U.S. state), Georgia. A variant name is "Bullards". History Located in Twiggs County, Bullard was originally a railroad station located about a mile east of the Ocmulgee River. It was named for the Daniel Bullard family. Daniel Bullard I was a wealthy landowner and businessman who owned land on the east bank of the Ocmulgee River. The present settlement is about -mile east of the station. Bullard Township is a township in Wadena County, Minnesota, United States. The population was 207 at the 2000 census. Bullard Township was named after Clarence Eugene Bullard, a county official. Geography According to the United States Census Bureau, the township has a total area of ; of it is land and of it (2.32%) is water. Demographics As of the census of 2000, there were 207 people, 79 households, and 50 families residing in the township. The population density was 6.8 people per square mile (2.6/km2). Bullard, Texas
Bullard is a small town in Smith and Cherokee counties in the east-central part of U.S. state of Texas. U.S. Route 69 and Farm-to-Market Roads 2137, 2493, and 344 intersect here, about south of the larger city of Tyler. Its population was 2,463 at the 2010 census, up from 1,150 at the 2000 census; by 2020, its population was 3,318. The Smith County portion of the town is part of the Tyler metropolitan statistical area, while the Cherokee County portion is part of the Jacksonville micropolitan statistical area. Bullard was earlier known as "Etna" and "Hewsville". The town is named for John H. Bullard, a Confederate soldier, and Emma Eugenia (Erwin) Bullard. Bullard Mountain
Bullard Mountain is a mountain summit located in the Boundary Ranges, in the U.S. state of Alaska. The peak is situated immediately east of the terminus of Mendenhall Glacier, within Tongass National Forest, north-northwest of Juneau, and northeast of Juneau International Airport. McGinnis Mountain lies on the opposite side of the glacier, and Heintzleman Ridge lies to the south. Bullard Mountain is often seen and photographed with Mount Wrather, a summit to the north because they are together in the background behind Mendenhall Lake, a popular tourist and recreation area. Although modest in elevation, relief is significant since the mountain rises from this nearly sea-level lake in less than two miles.
