The terms Muslim world and Islamic world commonly refer to the Islamic community, which is also known as the Ummah. Zulfiqar Ali Bukhari
Zulfiqar Ali Bukhari often abbreviated as Z. A. Bukhari (Urdu:ذوالفقار علی بخاری) (July 6, 1904 – July 12, 1975) was a broadcaster of British India and later Pakistan. He is notoriously remembered for being the reason Bade Ghulam Ali Khan left Pakistan for India. He was also a writer, poet and musician. He was the first director-general of Radio Pakistan. Asghar Bukhari is a British Muslim campaigner and political commentator. He is known for being a founding member and spokesperson of the Muslim Public Affairs Committee UK (MPACUK). Admiral Fasih Bokhari (; 8 March 1942 – 24 November 2020) was a Pakistani admiral who served as the Chief of Naval Staff from 1997 to 1999. He was a well-known pacifist and a prominent political figure as the Chief of Naval Staff from 1997 until his voluntary resignation in 1999, which stemmed from his staunch opposition to the then- Pakistani President Pervez Musharraf's instigation of the Kargil War with India, a conflict that Bokhari reportedly saw as an act of inappropriate and uncoordinated aggression from Pakistan and one that subsequently led him into a bitter dispute with Musharraf. Mudassar Bukhari ( ur, مدثر بخاری; born 26 December 1983) is a Dutch international cricketer who made his debut for the Netherlands national cricket team in July 2007. Nourdin Boukhari ( ar, نور الدين البخاري; born 30 June 1980) is a Dutch-Moroccan former professional footballer who played as a midfielder. Shahid H. Bokhari (born 17 January 1952 in Lahore, Pakistan) is a highly cited Pakistani researcher in the field of parallel and distributed computing. He is a fellow of both IEEE and ACM. Bokhari's ACM Fellow citation states that he received the award for his "research contributions to automatic load balancing and partitioning of distributed processes", while his IEEE Fellow award recognises his "contributions to the mapping problem in parallel and distributed computing".
