Ludwig Von Buhl
Ludwig von Buhl (4 January 1816 – 30 July 1880) was a German pathologist born in Munich. He studied medicine in Munich and Vienna, and in 1847 was habilitated as a lecturer of pathological anatomy and microscopy at the University of Munich. In 1850 he was chosen as an associate professor, and from 1854 served as prosector at the university general hospital. In 1859 he was appointed professor of general pathology and pathological anatomy in Munich, where in 1875 he became director of the pathological institute. Two of his better known assistants were Ernst Schweninger (1850–1924) and Wilhelm Heinrich Erb (1840–1921). With Max Joseph von Pettenkofer, Max Pettenkofer (1818–1901), Carl von Voit (1831–1908) and Ludwig Adolph Timotheus Radlkofer (1829–1927), he published the biology, biological journal ''Zeitschrift für Biologie''. The Buhl Building is a skyscraper and class-A office center in Downtown Detroit, Michigan. Architect Wirt C. Rowland designed the Buhl in a Neo-Gothic style with Romanesque accents. Constructed in 1925, it stands at 26 stories in the Detroit Financial District across Congress Street from the Penobscot Building and across Griswold Street from the Guardian Building, all of which were designed by Wirt C. Rowland. The Buhl Building stands on the corner of Congress St. West, and Griswold St. in Downtown Detroit. The building stands atop what used to be the Savoyard Creek near its confluence with the Detroit River. In 1836, the creek was covered and turned into a sewer. The Savoyard Club occupied the 27th floor of the Buhl Building from 1928 until its membership dwindled and the club closed in 1994. The Buhl Altarpiece (french: Retable de Buhl) is a late 15th-century, Gothic art, Gothic altarpiece of colossal dimensions now kept in the parish church ''Église Saint-Jean-Baptiste'' of Buhl, Haut-Rhin, Buhl in the Haut-Rhin, Haut-Rhin département of France. It was painted by followers of Martin Schongauer, most probably for the convent of the Dominican sisters of Saint Catherine of Colmar, and moved to its present location in the early 19th century. Vilhelm Buhl (16 October 1881 – 18 December 1954) was Prime Minister of Denmark from 4 May 1942 to 9 November 1942 as head of the ''Unity Government'' (the Cabinet of Vilhelm Buhl I) during the German occupation of Denmark of World War II, until the Nazis ordered him removed. He was Prime Minister again from 5 May 1945 to 7 November 1945 as head of a unity government (the ''Cabinet of Vilhelm Buhl II'') after the liberation of Denmark by the British Field Marshal Montgomery. Vilhelm Buhl was a member of the Social Democrats. He joined the party while a law student at the University of Copenhagen. Klara Gabriele Bühl (born 7 December 2000) is a German footballer who plays as a forward or winger for FC Bayern München, and the Germany national team. Club career Klara Bühl first played in various youth teams of the Spvgg Untermünstertal before moving to the youth department of the Bundesliga club SC Freiburg in the summer of 2013.
