Bugojno
Bugojno ( sr-cyrl, Бугојно) is a town and municipality located in Central Bosnia Canton of the Federation of Bosnia and Herzegovina, an entity of Bosnia and Herzegovina. It is situated on river Vrbas, to the northwest from Sarajevo. According to the 2013 census, the town has a population of 15,555 inhabitants, with 31,470 inhabitants in the municipality. To the west towards Kupres is a region called Koprivica. This enormous forest was once one of President Tito's favorite hunting spots. The uninhabited dense forest has created a sanctuary for wild animals. Hunting associations are very active in this region and there are many mountain and hunting lodges dotting the forest. Duboka Valley (deep valley) is a designated hunting area covered by thick spruce. Kalin Mountain is a popular weekend area for hikers and nature lovers. Ermin Zec (born 18 February 1988) is a Bosnian professional footballer who plays as a forward or as a winger. Club career In 2007, Zec signed for Šibenik where he quickly established himself in the first team. He was voted best young Bosnian player of the year in 2009 by journalists. In a voting where all the captains in the Croatian League participated, Zec was voted the best player of the league in 2009. In June 2010, he signed a four-year contract with Turkish club Gençlerbirliği. After four years in Turkey, in September 2014, Zec returned to Croatia, signing with Rijeka. Vladimir "Vlatko" Marković (; 1 January 1937 – 23 September 2013) was a Croatian professional football manager and player who served as the president of the Croatian Football Federation from 1998 to 2012. Central Bosnia Canton
The Central Bosnia Canton ( bs, Srednjobosanski kanton/Средњобосански кантон, hr, Županija Središnja Bosna) is one of 10 cantons of the Federation of Bosnia and Herzegovina in Bosnia and Herzegovina. The most populous settlement in the region is Bugojno, followed by Travnik and Novi Travnik. Geography It is located in the center of the country, to the west of Sarajevo. Edin Atić (born January 19, 1997) is a Bosnian professional basketball player for Budućnost VOLI of the ABA League and the Montenegrin League. Standing at 6 ft 7 in (2.01 m) and weighing 195 lbs. Stjepan Tomas (born 6 March 1976) is a Croatian professional football manager and former player. His previous clubs include Dinamo Zagreb, Vicenza Calcio, Como, Fenerbahçe, Galatasaray and Rubin Kazan. He played as centre-back, and at one point of his career as defensive midfielder. Branko Mikulić
Branko Mikulić (10 June 1928 – 12 April 1994) was a Yugoslavian statesman. Mikulić was one of the leading communist politicians in Bosnia and Herzegovina during the communist rule in the former Yugoslavia. Biography Branko Mikulić was born to a Herzegovinian Croat family in 1928 in the vicinity of Gornji Vakuf, Kingdom of Serbs, Croats and Slovenes. His father was a prosperous farmer and a leading local member of the Croatian Peasant Party, who during World War II became a deputy on the State Anti-Fascist Council of People's Liberation of Bosnia and Herzegovina (ZAVNOBiH). Zenit Đozić
Zenit Đozić (born 8 October 1961) is a Bosnian actor, humorist, television producer and former rock drummer. Career Known under nicknames Zena and Fu-Do, Đozić started his entertainment career as a drummer of Sarajevo-based garage rock band Zabranjeno Pušenje. He left Zabranjeno Pušenje before the band recorded its first album, but formed ''Top lista nadrealista'' with his former bandmates and became one of the most prominent members of the group. He then returned to the group on their second album in back vocal capacity, and did the subsequent tour with them. He stayed in Sarajevo during the Bosnian War and took part in war-time sketches of ''Top lista nadrealista''. Municipalities Of Bosnia And Herzegovina
In Bosnia and Herzegovina, the smallest administrative unit is the municipality ("''opština''/општина" or "''općina''/опћина" in the official languages and scripts of the country). Prior to the 1992–95 Bosnian War there were 109 municipalities in what was then Socialist Republic of Bosnia and Herzegovina. Ten of these formed the area of the capital Sarajevo. After the war, the number of municipalities was increased to 143, grouped in the following way: *79 municipalities constitute the Federation of Bosnia and Herzegovina (FBiH), which comprises 51% of the country's total territory. Ivona Dadic
Ivona Dadic (born 29 December 1993) is an Austrian track and field athlete of Bosnian descent. She competed at the 2012 Summer Olympics in the women's heptathlon event. At the 2020 Summer Olympics she finished 8th. Early life and career Ivona Dadić was born on 29 December 1993 in Wels, Austria to Nine and Danica Dadić, who are from Bugojno, Bosnia and Herzegovina. Dadić was raised as a Roman Catholic. At the age of nine she won her first competition. Her brother Ivan died in 2008 in car accident so she has a tattooed cross on her left hand with his name.
