The Buffalo Party of Saskatchewan is a conservative, populist, and separatist provincial political party in Saskatchewan. Kindersley is a town surrounded by the Rural Municipality of Kindersley No. 290 in west-central Saskatchewan, Canada. It is located along Highway 7, a primary highway linking Calgary, Alberta and Saskatoon, Saskatchewan. The Maverick Party, formerly known as Wexit Canada, is a Canadian federal political party. It advocates for constitutional changes to benefit, or the independence of, Western Canada, which includes British Columbia, Alberta, Saskatchewan, Manitoba, and the three territories. The party has its roots in Alberta separatism. The Province of Buffalo was a proposal for the creation of a new Canadian province in the early 20th century. Its main proponent was Sir Frederick Haultain, the premier of the North-West Territories. Allan Edward Joseph Kerpan (born 1954) is a Canadian politician. He is the current interim deputy leader of the Maverick Party, a right-wing Western Canadian separatist party. Life and career Kerpan was born on 9 December 1954 in Kenaston, Saskatchewan. He attended public school in Kenaston from 1960 to 1972, but attended St Peter's College, Muenster, during 1969–70. He was first elected to the House of Commons of Canada in the Moose Jaw—Lake Centre electoral district in the 1993 federal election.
