Abraham Bueno De Mesquita
Abraham "Appie" Bueno de Mesquita (July 23, 1918 in Amsterdam – August 19, 2005 in Lelystad) was a Dutch comedian, actor and stage artist, well known for his ability to make funny faces. In World War II, Bueno de Mesquita was imprisoned in the Dossin Barracks in Mechelen, Belgium on account of being Sephardi Jewish, and was scheduled to be deported to Auschwitz. However, the camp commander was looking for musicians. His ability to play a one string cello combined with his mimical talents saved his life. Bueno de Mesquita was one of the first television artists, starring on-screen as early as 1952, Bueno de Mesquita appeared on television as a comedian. Gustavo Bueno Martínez (1 September 1924 – 7 August 2016) was a Spanish philosopher, founder of a philosophical doctrine dubbed by himself as "philosophical materialism". Ricardo Bueno Fernández (24 April 1940 – 7 January 2015) was a Spanish politician and historian. He was member of the Senate of Spain for the Union of the Democratic Centre between 1977 and 1979. As member of the People's Party he served two terms in the Senate between 1993 and 2000, and one term in the Congress of Deputies between 2000 and 2004. Career Bueno was born in Medina del Campo on 24 April 1940. He worked as an administrative clerk for most of his life. In the 1977 general elections he was elected to the Senate of the Constituent Assembly for Cantabria on the list of the Union of the Democratic Centre. Nakor Bueno Gómez (born 4 March 1978), known simply as Nakor, is a Spanish former footballer who played as a forward. He spent most of his professional career with Lleida, having signed in 2000. Maria Esther Andion Bueno (11 October 1939 – 8 June 2018) was a Brazilian professional tennis player. During her 11-year career in the 1950s and 1960s, she won 19 Grand Slam titles (seven in women's singles, 11 in women's doubles, and one in mixed doubles), making her the most successful South American female tennis player in history, and the only one to ever win Wimbledon. Luis Alberto Bueno (born May 22, 1969) is a (presumed) retired Cuban Track and Field athlete, known primarily for being a Junior long jumper. Career He currently holds the World Best in the Youth Division, at 8.25 m set as a 17-year-old while winning the 1986 Ibero-American Championships September 28, 1986 in Havana. It made him the number 8 jumper in the world that year. Two years later he improved his personal record to 8.28 m at age 19, which stands as the third best performer in the Junior Division, only behind 8.34 m by Randy Williams while winning the 1972 Summer Olympics and the 2012 improvement to 8.35 by Sergey Morgunov of Russia.
