The 6th constituency of Budapest ( hu, Budapesti 06. számú országgyűlési egyéni választókerület) is one of the first-past-the-post voting, single member List of Hungarian constituencies, constituencies of the National Assembly (Hungary), National Assembly, the national legislature of Hungary. The constituency standard abbreviation: ''Budapest 06. OEVK''. Since 2018, it has been represented by Máté Kocsis of the Fidesz–KDNP party alliance. Geography The 6th constituency is located in central-western part of Pest, Hungary, Pest. The constituency borders with Budapest 5th constituency, 5th- and Budapest 8th constituency, 8th constituency to the north, Budapest 9th constituency, 9th constituency to the east, Budapest 16th constituency, 16th constituency to the southeast, and Budapest 17th constituency, 17th constituency to the southwest, Budapest 18th constituency, 18th-, Budapest 2nd constituency, 2nd- and Budapest 1st constituency, 1st constituency to the west. Józsefváros
Józsefváros (german: Josefstadt) is the 8th district of Budapest, Hungary. It is the part of the city centre in the wider sense as one of the 18–19th century older suburbs, close to Belváros. Location The main streets in Józsefváros are Baross utca, Rákóczi út and Üllői út; Kálvin tér connects this district with the 5th and 9th. Keleti (Eastern) Railway Station is located at the junction of 7th, 8th and 14th districts. Name The 18th century suburb was first called ''Alsó-Külváros'' (literally "Lower Suburb"). It was named after the heir of the Hungarian throne, Emperor Joseph II in 1777. Description Józsefváros mostly consists of old, often neglected residential buildings with nice interiors. It can be divided into three parts, the borders being Grand Boulevard (''Nagykörút'') and the roads ''Fiumei út'' and ''Orczy út''.
