Bud Korchak
Borden Walter "Bud" Korchak was a Canadian football player. He was nicknamed the "Golden Toe" and the "Ukrainian Gazelle". A native of Winnipeg, Korchak played junior football with the St. John's Grads and Intermediate football with Elmwood before moving up to the Winnipeg Blue Bombers. He was a flying wing (flanker/slotback in more modern terms) and also one of the best placekickers in the early 1950s. Korchak played six seasons for the Bombers (1949-54), and was the West's All-Star Flying Wing in 1952 and 1953 (there were no CFL All-Stars until 1962). Winnipeg Blue Bombers
The Winnipeg Blue Bombers are a professional Canadian football team based in Winnipeg, Manitoba. The Blue Bombers compete in the Canadian Football League (CFL) as a member club of the league's West division. They play their home games at IG Field. The Blue Bombers were founded in 1930 as the Winnipeg Rugby Football Club, later changed to the Winnipeg Football Club, which is the organization's legal name. Montreal Alouettes
The Montreal Alouettes (Canadian French, French: Les Alouettes de Montréal) are a professional Canadian football team based in Montreal, Quebec. Founded in 1946, the team has folded and been revived twice. The Alouettes compete in the Canadian Football League East Division, East Division of the Canadian Football League (CFL) and last won the Grey Cup championship in 98th Grey Cup, 2010. Ottawa Rough Riders
The Ottawa Rough Riders were a Canadian Football League team based in Ottawa, Ontario, founded in 1876. Formerly one of the oldest and longest-lived professional sports teams in North America, the Rough Riders won the Grey Cup championship nine times. The Calgary Stampeders are a professional Canadian football team based in Calgary, Alberta. The Stampeders compete in the West Division of the Canadian Football League (CFL). The club plays its home games at McMahon Stadium and are the third-oldest active franchise in the CFL. The Dave Dryburgh Memorial Trophy is a Canadian Football League trophy, given to the top scorer in the West Division.
