Buca Arena
Buca Arena is a football stadium in Izmir and is located near to Yedigöller, north of Buca. Construction began in 2008; the opening ceremony of the new stadium was in 2009. The official capacity of Buca Arena is 8,810. Near the stadium, a carpet area, two basketball courts, jogging paths and a 300 car parking lot are located. Buca
Buca (, ) is a district of İzmir Province, Turkey. It is one of the main urban districts of İzmir Metropolitan Municipality. History Buca was one of the preferred settlement areas of İzmir's community of Levantines. The great mansions they built in the 19th century stand to this day, most of them restored. The district center is situated slightly inland like the district of Bornova with which it shares important points in common, and on the higher ground that commands the southern shores of the tip of the Gulf of İzmir. Bucaspor
Bucaspor was a professional Turkish football club based in Buca, Izmir. Formed in 1928, Bucaspor were nicknamed Fırtına (Storm). The club colours were yellow and navy. It was dissolved in 2020. History Bucaspor was the fifth football club to be based in Izmir, following Karşıyaka S.K. (1912), Altay S.K. (1914), Altınordu S.K. (1923), and Göztepe A.Ş. (1925). Yellow and navy were chosen for the club colours. Former president Yusuf Muhafiz pushed to make red one of the colours of the club, to distinguish it from Istanbul-based club Fenerbahçe. The colour has since been removed. Bucaspor merged with Altay and Altınordu as Üçokspor in 1937. These clubs were separated again in 1939. Bucaspor 1928 is a Turkish football club located in Buca, İzmir. The team competes in the TFF Second League. History Bucaspor 1928 was founded in 2011 as ''İzmir İl Özel İdarespor''. Prior to the 2013-14 season it changed its name into ''Tire 1922 Spor''. Cihan Aktaş acquired the shares of the club in 2019 and changed the club name in ''Buca Futbol Kulübü''.
