The Bubliai Reservoir is an artificial lake in Kėdainiai District Municipality, central Lithuania. It is located east from Kėdainiai, next to Aristava village. Vilainiai Eldership ( lt, Vilainių seniūnija) is a Lithuanian eldership, located in the central-northern part of Kėdainiai District Municipality. Eldership was created in 2001, when Aristava Eldership and part of Kėdainiai City Eldership was merged. Aristava
Aristava (formerly ''Lukšiakaimis'', russian: Орвистово, Лукшакаймис, pl, Orwistów) is a village in Kėdainiai district municipality, in Kaunas County, in central Lithuania. According to the 2011 census, the village had a population of 489 people. It is located from Kėdainiai, next to the Bubliai Reservoir on the Obelis river, by the Malčius and the Malčius 2nd rivulets. There is a big road junction: the A8 highway, the road to Cinkiškiai via Kėdainiai (KK229), the road to Ukmergė (KK145). There is a library, a former school, a stock farm. History The Aristava manor of duke Algimantas has been known since 1371 when it was mentioned by Hermann von Wartberge. The former manor had been located in Aristavėlė but the last palace building was transferred to the Museum of Lithuanian Folk Life. The Obelis is a river of Ukmergė district municipality and Kėdainiai district municipality, central Lithuania. It flows for and has a basin area of . It is a left tributary of the Nevėžis near Kėdainiai. The river valley is 200–220 m wide and 8–14 m high. The width of the river course is 5–12 m. The rapidness of the current is 0,2–0,3 meters per second. There are Kapliai Reservoir, Bubliai Reservoir and Juodkiškiai Reservoir dammed on the Obelis river. Kėdainiai () is one of the oldest cities in Lithuania. It is located north of Kaunas on the banks of the Nevėžis River. First mentioned in the 1372 Livonian Chronicle of Hermann de Wartberge, its population is 23,667. Its old town dates to the 17th century. The city is the administrative centre of the Kėdainiai District Municipality. A ''seniūnija'' (in English: eldership, elderate, ward, parish, or subdistrict) is the smallest administrative division of Lithuania. An eldership may comprise a very small region consisting of few villages, one single town, or a part of a big city. Elderships vary in size and population depending on their location and nature. A few elderships make up a municipality. Šilainiai (Kaunas) and Dainava (Kaunas) are the most populous elderates, with population counts over , exceeding the population of some entire municipalities.
