Bryon Allen (born May 1, 1992) is an American professional basketball player for Parma Basket of the VTB United League. Allen played college basketball for the George Mason Patriots from 2010 until 2014. Professional career On August 14, 2016, Allen signed with ČEZ Basketball Nymburk of the Czech NBL. He averaged 13.9 points and 3.1 assists over 42 NBL games. On June 18, 2017, Allen signed with EWE Baskets Oldenburg of the German Basketball Bundesliga. On December 12, 2017, he parted ways with Oldenburg. Four days later, he signed with Turkish club Pınar Karşıyaka. On June 30, 2018, Allen signed with the Italian club Basket Brescia Leonessa. The point guard (PG), also called the one or the point, is one of the five Basketball positions, positions in a regulation basketball game. A point guard has perhaps the most specialized role of any position. Point guards are expected to run the team's offense by controlling the ball and making sure that it gets to the right player at the right time. BC Parma (russian: БК Парма), also known as Parma Basket, is a professional basketball team that is based in Perm, Russia. It plays in the VTB United League, the highest level of basketball in Russia. The club's full name is Parma Basket Perm. The name is unrelated with the Italian city of Parma. History BC Parma was established in 2012. In 2016, Parma Basket won the Russian Cup title, by beating Zenit Saint Petersburg in the Russian Cup Final. The Basketball Bundesliga (BBL) (English language: ''Federal Basketball League''), for sponsorship reasons named easyCredit BBL, is the highest level league of professional club basketball in Germany. The league comprises 18 teams. A BBL season is split into a league stage and a playoff stage. At the end of the league stage, the top eight teams qualify for the playoff stage, and the teams positioned in the 17th and 18th places are relegated to a lower-tier league. 2016–17 National Basketball League (Czech Republic) Season
The 2016–17 National Basketball League (Czech Republic) season was the 24th season of the Czech NBL. Format Teams in regular season play home and away against every other team in a round-robin tournament, before being split into two groups of six teams for playing again home and away against the teams from the same group. After the end of the stage after the first split, the six teams from to top group and the two first qualified teams from the bottom group joined the play-offs. The other four teams would play again home and away against themselves for avoiding the relegation.
