Bryce Huff
Bryce Huff (born April 17, 1998) is an American football defensive end for the Philadelphia Eagles of the National Football League (NFL). He played college football at Memphis. Early years Huff grew up in Opelika, Alabama, where he spent most of his childhood. He later moved to Mobile, Alabama, where he attended St. Paul's Episcopal School. As a senior, He was named first-team All-State after recording 93 tackles and seven sacks. Huff initially committed to play college football at South Alabama, but flipped his commitment to Memphis. College career Huff played mostly on special teams as a true freshman. He entered the pass rush rotation as a sophomore, making three starts and finishing the season with 30 tackles, five tackles for loss and two sacks. As a junior, Huff recorded 49 tackles and led the team with 9.5 sacks and 19 tackles for loss and was named second-team All-American Athletic Conference (AAC). Defensive End
Defensive end (DE) is a defensive position in the sport of gridiron football. This position has designated the players at each end of the defensive line, but changes in formation (American football), formations over the years have substantially changed how the position is played. History Early formations, with six- and seven-man line defense, seven-man lines, used the end as a containment player, whose job was first to prevent an "end run" around his position, then secondarily to force plays inside. When most teams adopted a five-man line, two different styles of end play developed: "crashing" ends, who rushed into the backfield to disrupt plays, and "stand-up" or "waiting" ends, who played the more traditional containment style.
