Brutus (Norwegian Band)
Brutus is a Norwegian hard rock band from Oslo, Norway formed in 2007. Brutus has a heavy groove based on 1970s blues-oriented riff rock, in the vein of Black Sabbath, Grand Funk Railroad, Blue Cheer and Pentagram, among others. Formation Brutus formed in 2007,Official Homepage when Johan Forsberg, Christian "Krille" Hellqvist and Knut-Ole Mathisen got together to start a band. Mathisen was originally bassplayer, but shifted to drums when a drummer could not be found. The band solidified by 2008 when they found second guitarist Kim Molander. After seeing a concert with short lived band The Ritual, Hellqvist was so amused with charismatic singer Joakim Stenby that he hunted him down later that same night, threatening him to sing in the band. Heavy Metal Music
Heavy metal (or simply metal) is a genre of rock music that developed in the late 1960s and early 1970s, largely in the United Kingdom and United States. With roots in blues rock, psychedelic rock and acid rock, heavy metal bands developed a thick, monumental sound characterized by distortion (music), distorted guitars, extended guitar solos, emphatic Beat (music), beats and loudness. Piano
The piano is a stringed keyboard instrument in which the strings are struck by wooden hammers that are coated with a softer material (modern hammers are covered with dense wool felt; some early pianos used leather). Leaf Hound is an English hard rock band formed in 1969. The band is often cited as pioneers of heavy metal, hard rock, psychedelic rock and stoner rock. The release of their 1971 debut album '' Growers of Mushrooms'' is said to be a mixture of heavy metal, hard rock, psychedelic rock and stoner rock and influenced those genres. Biography Formed in 1969 under their original name, Black Cat Bones. Early incarnations of the Black Cat Bones featured guitarist Paul Kossoff and drummer Simon Kirke who both left to form Free. Black Cat Bones issued one album for Decca Records entitled '' Barbed Wire Sandwich''. They replaced their vocalist shortly after releasing the album, adding Peter French to the line-up. Most packaging is rigid or semi-rigid and designed to protect the media from scratches and other types of exposure damage. Jewel case A jewel CD case is a compact disc case that has been used since the compact disc was first released in 1982.
