Bruno Zebie
Bruno Zebie (born August 14, 1995) is a former professional soccer player who played as a midfielder. Born in France, Zebie represented Canada at youth level. Early life Zebie was born in Cormeilles-en-Parisis, France, to Ivorian parents. He acquired French nationality on 29 July 1999, through the collective effect of his parents' naturalization. He moved to Lachine, Quebec at age six, later moving to Brossard, Quebec. His family then moved to Edmonton when he was 13. He began playing youth soccer with Edmonton Juventus before joining the FC Edmonton Academy in 2012. In 2016, he joined the Edmonton Green and Gold youth academy. University career In 2016, he began attending the University of Alberta, where he played for the men's soccer team. The Canadian Premier League (CPL or CanPL; french: Première ligue canadienne, links=no) is a professional men's Association football, soccer league in Canada. At the top of the Canadian soccer league system, it is the country's primary national soccer league competition. The league consists of eight teams, from five of provinces and territories of Canada, Canada's ten provinces. Each team plays 28 games in the regular season which is followed by playoffs culminating in the Canadian Premier League Finals, CPL Finals. Reading United AC is an American soccer team based in Reading, Pennsylvania. Founded in 1995, the team plays in USL League Two, the fourth tier of the American Soccer Pyramid. The 2018 Premier Development League season was the 24th season of the PDL, and the last under the PDL name. The regular season started on May 4 and ended on July 16. Michael William Bowyer Nonni (born 10 November 1989) is a Canadian former professional soccer player who most recently played with FC Edmonton of the North American Soccer League. Career Youth and college Born in West Vancouver, British Columbia, Nonni spent four years with the Vancouver Selects, winning the Canadian National Championship in 2005. The Vancouver Selects played in multiple tournaments abroad against teams like Manchester United, Ajax, Roma, and AC Milan. Nonni signed a contract with Eredivise club FC Groningen in 2006. Nonni accepted a scholarship to UC Santa Barbara in 2009, where he played for the soccer team, the UC Santa Barbara Gauchos. The Fort Lauderdale Strikers were an American professional soccer team based in Fort Lauderdale, Florida founded in 2006, that last played in the North American Soccer League (NASL), the second tier of the American soccer pyramid in 2016. The majority of their home games were played in Lockhart Stadium. The Strikers were named after the original Strikers, who played in the old North American Soccer League from 1977 to 1983. The team was known as Miami FC from 2006 until 2011 before re-branding as the Strikers in 2011. They had an in-state rivalry with the Tampa Bay Rowdies.
