Bruno Silić
Bruno Silić (1 December 1958 – 18 January 2004) was a Croatian professional water polo player and coach. Career He was the coach of Jadran Split, Triglav Kranj, Glyfada and Mladost Zagreb. He also was the coach of the senior men's Croatia national team from 1993 until 1998, winning the silver medal at the 1996 Summer Olympics in Atlanta. Leading Mladost Zagreb, he won four Croatian Championships, two Croatian Cups, as well as the LEN Cup The LEN Euro Cup is the second-tier European water polo club competition run by the Ligue Européenne de Natation for those clubs who did not qualify for the LEN Champions League. The Athletic Nautical Club of Glyfada , or "ANOG" ( Greek: Αθλητικός Ναυτικός Όμιλος Γλυφάδας, "ΑΝΟΓ") was founded by 20 local sportsmen in 1946 and is located in Glyfada, Athens. The first name of the club was ''Athletic Club of Glyfada'' (AOG), (Αθλητικός Όμιλος Γλυφάδας) and the departments was basketball, volleyball, swimming, track and field and last water Polo. Water Polo
Water polo is a competitive team sport played in water between two teams of seven players each. The game consists of four quarters in which the teams attempt to score goals by throwing the ball into the opposing team's goal. The team with the most goals at the end of the game wins the match. Each team is made up of six field players and one goalkeeper. Excluding the goalkeeper, players participate in both offensive and defensive roles. It is typically played in an all-deep pool where players cannot touch the bottom. A game consists mainly of the players swimming to move about the pool, treading water (mainly using the eggbeater kick), passing the ball, and shooting at the goal. Teamwork, tactical thinking and awareness are also highly important aspects. Water polo is a highly physical and demanding sport and has frequently been cited as one of the most difficult to play.
