Bruno Heppell (born February 14, 1972) is a former Canadian football fullback who played eight seasons with the Montreal Alouettes of the Canadian Football League (CFL) and now football commentator at RDS TV network. He was drafted by the Alouettes in the third round of the 1997 CFL Draft. La Prairie, Quebec
La Prairie is an off-island suburb ( south shore) of Montreal, in southwestern Quebec, Canada, at the confluence of the Saint-Jacques River and the Saint Lawrence River in the Regional County Municipality of Roussillon. The population as of the Canada 2011 Census was 23,357. History French Jesuits were the first Europeans to occupy the area, which was named La Prairie de la Magdelaine but was also called François-Xavier-des-Prés. The land was given to the Jesuits by Jacques de La Ferté and the Company of One Hundred Associates in 1647. It is in La Prairie that the story Kateri Tekakwitha took place. Western Michigan University (Western Michigan, Western or WMU) is a public research university in Kalamazoo, Michigan. The Western Michigan Broncos football program represents Western Michigan University in the Football Bowl Subdivision of Division I and the Mid-American Conference (MAC). Western Michigan has competed in football since 1906, when they played three games in their inaugural season. In 1927, WMU joined four other schools (Central Michigan University, Eastern Michigan University, Ferris State University, and Wayne State University) to form the Michigan Collegiate Conference. Western Michigan then moved to its present conference in 1948. Prior to 1939, Western Michigan's athletic teams were known as the Hilltoppers.
