Armindo Tué Na Bangna (born 24 October 1994), known as Bruma, is a Portuguese professional footballer who plays for Braga on loan from Turkish club Fenerbahçe as a winger, with skill and speed being his main assets. Club career Sporting CP Born in Bissau, Guinea-Bissau, Bruma moved to Portugal as a child, joining Sporting CP's academy before his 13th birthday. Jeffrey Kevin van Homoet Bruma (born 13 November 1991), commonly known as Jeffrey Bruma (), is a Dutch professional footballer who plays as a centre-back for Süper Lig club Kasımpaşa S.K., Kasımpaşa. Marciano Bruma (born as Marciano van Homoet on 7 March 1984) is a Dutch professional footballer who plays as a defender for Derde Klasse club . Club career Barnsley Van Homoet was signed by Barnsley on 8 June 2007. He was originally known as Bruma, but was forced to change his name in September 2007, by the FA when Barnsley sent in his registration, after he completed a successful trial period with them at the start of the season. When he broke his hand he had a plate screwed onto his second metacarpal in an hour-long surgery, the plate is a permanent attachment and can not be removed. Eddy Bruma
Eduard Johan "Eddy" Bruma (May 30, 1925 – November 6, 2000) was a Surinamese politician, lawyer and writer. Biography Bruma was imprisoned during World War II, because of his nationalistic activities. After the war, he studied law at the Free University Amsterdam and, in 1951, he was involved in the founding of the Surinamese cultural association ''Wie Eegie Sanie'' ("our own things"). Bruma considered his own native language so important, that he addressed the World Youth Congress in Bucharest in Sranan Tongo. After returning to Suriname in 1954, he settled as a lawyer in Paramaribo. In addition, he was also politically active. Brumalia
The Brumalia ( la, Brumalia ) were a winter solstice festival celebrated in the eastern part of the Roman Empire. In Rome there had been the minor holiday of Bruma on November 24, which turned into large scale end of the year festivities in Constantinople and Christianity. The festival included night-time feasting, drinking, and merriment. During this time, prophetic indications were taken as predictions for the remainder of the winter. Despite the 6th century emperor Justinian's official repression of paganism, the holiday was celebrated at least until the 11th century, as recorded by Christopher of Mytilene. No references exist after the 1204 sacking of the capital by the Fourth Crusade. Bruma is a suburb of Johannesburg, South Africa. In the 1990s Bruma was well known for South Africa's first manmade lake-side shopping centre, and for its popular African curios and crafts market which attracted tourists and day visitors from around the country.
