Bruce Turgon
Bruce Turgon (born April 25, 1952) is an American bass guitarist, guitarist, vocalist, songwriter and producer. Bruce has played in several bands throughout his career including: Foreigner, The Lou Gramm Band, Shadow King, Steve Stevens, Warrior, Black Sheep and Showcase. Biography Turgon was born and raised in North Chili, New York, a suburb of Rochester, and near the hometown of future bandmate and singer Lou Gramm. Turgon began playing as a multi-instrumentalist in elementary school. In high school, he joined the Rochester-based cover band Showcase, competing in the same market as the Gramm-fronted band Poor Heart. Turgon and Gramm started the band Black Sheep in late 1971, which built a strong regional following over the next two years. The Gramm-Turgon EP ''Stick Around'', which led the group to be signed to Capitol, was released on Chrysalis in 1974. Chili ( ) is a town in Monroe County, New York, United States. The population was 28,625 at the 2010 census. It is a suburb of the city of Rochester. "Midnight Blue" is a song by American rock singer-songwriter Lou Gramm, issued as a 7" single in the United States in January 1987 by Atlantic Records. It was the lead-off single from Gramm's debut album, '' Ready or Not'', released in February 1987. An extended remix of the song was available as a 12" single. ''Ready or Not'' is the debut solo studio album by American rock singer-songwriter Lou Gramm, released in February 1987 by Atlantic Records. Production Eight of the ten songs, which comprise ''Ready Or Not'', were written by Gramm in partnership with former Black Sheep bandmate Bruce Turgon. The album was recorded in 1986 at Bear Tracks Recording in Suffern, New York and The Hit Factory Recording in New York City. It was produced by Gramm and Pat Moran, who is known as an engineer on recordings by such performers as Rush and Robert Plant. Reception ''Ready Or Not'' was a commercial success, reaching number 27 on the US ''Billboard'' 200. It generated two hit songs. ''Crazy Nights'' is the fourteenth studio album by American rock band Kiss, recorded from March to June 1987 and released on September 21, 1987, by Mercury worldwide and Vertigo in the UK. This was the second album to feature the line-up of Gene Simmons, Paul Stanley, Bruce Kulick, and Eric Carr. The album is notable for featuring heavy use of pop-metal keyboards and synthesizers. Prism (styled as PRiSM) is a Canadian rock band formed in Vancouver in 1977. They were originally active from 1977 to 1984 and have been active again from 1987 to present. Nicholas George Gilder (born 21 December 1951) is a British-Canadian musician who first came to prominence as the frontman for the glam rock band Sweeney Todd.
