Bruce A. Seals (June 18, 1953 β December 15, 2020) was an American basketball player in the American Basketball Association (ABA) and the National Basketball Association (NBA). Seals was drafted in the first round by the Utah Stars, playing two seasons in the ABA before being selected in the second round of the 1975 NBA draft by the Seattle SuperSonics. Westmont College is a private Christian liberal arts college in Montecito, California. It was founded in 1937. History Ruth Kerr, owner and CEO of the Kerr Glass Manufacturing Company, established the school as the Bible Missionary Institute in 1937 on the former Westlake School for Girls campus near Downtown Los Angeles. Nicholls Junior College, the university is named for Francis T. Donald Earl "Slick" Watts (born July 22, 1951) is an American former basketball player. He is perhaps most well known for being the first NBA player to lead the league in both assists and steals, in 1976. College "Slick" Watts originally attended Grand View Junior College but transferred to Xavier University of Louisiana in 1970, where he would play college basketball for three years under coach Bob Hopkins, and alongside his teammate, future ABA and NBA star Bruce Seals. Robert M. Hopkins (November 3, 1934 β May 15, 2015) was an American basketball player and coach. Biography A native of Jonesboro, La.,Β Hopkins participated in football, basketball, baseball, and track (He was invited to participate in the 1956 Olympic Games as a broad jumper but declined in order to sign with the Syracuse Nationals.)
