Bruce Jeffery
Bruce Leslie Jeffery (born 25 June 1944) is a former Australian politician. He was a National Party member of the New South Wales Legislative Assembly, representing Oxley from 1984 to 1988, Port Macquarie from 1988 to 1991, and Oxley again from 1991 to 1999. Jeffery was born in Shepparton, Victoria, to parents Reginald and Mona. He attended local state schools and in 1961 the family moved to Finley in New South Wales. After graduating in 1961 he worked with the Australia and New Zealand Banking Group until 1965, when he took up farming. On 6 January 1968 he married Margaret, with whom he had four children. He was secretary of the Rural Lands Protection Board in Jerilderie from 1972 to 1978 and at Kempsey from 1979 to 1984. He was also a Justice of the Peace, and had joined the Country Party in 1968. Kempsey, New South Wales
Kempsey is a town in the Mid North Coast region of New South Wales, Australia and is the council seat for Kempsey Shire. It is located roughly 16.5 kilometres inland from the coast of the Pacific Ocean, on the Macleay Valley Way near where the Pacific Highway and the North Coast railway line cross the Macleay River. Andrew John Stoner (born 14 January 1960), an Australian former politician, was a member of the New South Wales Legislative Assembly representing Oxley from 1999 state election to 2015. Stoner was the Leader of the New South Wales National Party from 2003 to 2014, and Deputy Premier of New South Wales from 2011 to 2014. He was the Minister for Trade and Investment, and Minister for Regional Infrastructure and Services, between 2011 and 2014; and the Minister for Tourism and Major Events, the Minister for Small Business, and the Minister for the North Coast, between April and October 2014 in the Baird government. Wendy Susan Machin (born 14 October 1958 in Wingham, New South Wales), was the president of the National Roads and Motorists' Association (NRMA). Jim Brown (Australian Politician)
James Hill Brown (19 March 1918 – 17 January 1999) was an Australian politician, elected as a member of the New South Wales Legislative Assembly. Brown was born in Cessnock and educated at Cessnock Public School and Maitland Boys High School. He became an insurance executive. Brown was elected as the Country Party member for Raleigh in 1959 and held it to Raleigh's abolition in 1981, when he became the member for Oxley until his retirement in 1984. In the 1995 Australia Day Honours Brown's "service to the community and to the NSW Parliament" was recognised by the award of Medal of the Order of Australia.
