Bruce Clark (bishop)
Bruce Quinton Clark (born 22 May 1939) was the Anglican Bishop of Riverina in Australia from 1993 until 2004. Clark was educated at Brisbane Boys' College and ordained in 1963. His first post was as a curate at All Saints' Chermside. He then had incumbencies at St Luke's Miles, St Matthew's Gayndah and St Peter's Gympie. Wide Bay–Burnett
Wide Bay–Burnett is a region of the Australian state of Queensland, located between north of the state capital, Brisbane. The area's population growth has exceeded the state average over the past 20 years, and it is forecast to grow to more than 430,000 by 2031. It is the subject of the ''Draft Wide Bay–Burnett Regional Plan'', which aims to facilitate this growth while protecting over 90% of the region from urban development. Douglas Stevens
Douglas Robert Stevens is an Australian bishop. He was the Bishop of Riverina in the Anglican Church of Australia from 2005 to 2012. He is currently in parish ministry in Brisbane. Life and career Stevens was born in Wollongong, New South Wales. He grew up in Gateshead, Newcastle. He was drawn to the church as a boy and felt called to ordained ministry after high school. After initially studying commerce and working for Fell & Starkey (chartered accountants) he completed a BA in education, classics and philosophy at the University of NewcastleAustralian Anglican Directory, Doncaster Heights, Victoria : Angela Grutzner, 2009, p.375. and then studied theology at St John's College, Morpeth. Barry Hunter (bishop)
Barry Russell Hunter AM (15 August 1927 – 28 July 2015) was the Anglican Bishop of Riverina, New South Wales from 1971 until 1992. He was a keen poet and a pilot. Hunter was born in Brisbane on 15 August 1927, educated at Toowoomba Grammar School and the University of Queensland and ordained in 1953. His first post was as a curate at St Matthew's Sherwood after which he joined the Bush Brotherhood of St Paul at Cunnamulla. Later he was the Rector of St Gabriel's Biloela and then the Archdeacon of the East in the Diocese of Rockhampton. Episcopate Elected 7th Bishop of Riverina in August 1971, he was consecrated at St Andrew's Cathedral, Sydney on 30 November and enthroned at Hay on 8 December 1971. During his episcopate he established the chaplaincy at Charles Sturt University, and the Church of St Alban, Griffith was consecrated as the Cathedral of the diocese. Moreton Bay
Moreton Bay is a bay located on the eastern coast of Australia from central Brisbane, Queensland. It is one of Queensland's most important coastal resources. The waters of Moreton Bay are a popular destination for recreational anglers and are used by commercial operators who provide seafood to market. The Port of Brisbane coordinates large traffic along the shipping channel which crosses the northern section of the bay. The bay serves as a safe approach to the airport and reduces noise pollution over the city to the west of the runway. A number of barge, ferry and water-taxi services also travel over the bay. An archdeacon is a senior clergy position in the Church of the East, Chaldean Catholic Church, Syriac Orthodox Church, Anglican Communion, St Thomas Christians, Eastern Orthodox churches and some other Christian denominations, above that of most clergy and below a bishop.
