Bruce Bouton
Bruce Bouton is an American guitarist, session musician, producer, and songwriter. His pedal steel guitar has been featured on many country music recordings, and he helped reintroduce the pedal steel guitar to the forefront of the Nashville sound. Biography Bouton began playing pedal steel in 1973 while studying at Virginia Commonwealth University in Richmond. He played with a number of local ensembles, including the Good Humor Band. In 1978, Bouton moved from Vienna Virginia to Nashville Tennessee in pursuit of a music career. His first work in Nashville was touring with Dottie West, then Lacy J. Dalton and then recording and touring with Ricky Skaggs. Garth Brooks Bouton has toured and recorded with Garth Brooks from the beginning of Brooks career. Glen Campbell
Glen Travis Campbell (April 22, 1936 – August 8, 2017) was an American guitarist, singer, songwriter, actor and television host. He was best known for a series of hit songs in the 1960s and 1970s, and for hosting '' The Glen Campbell Goodtime Hour'' on CBS television from 1969 until 1972. He released 64 albums in a career that spanned five decades, selling over 45 million records worldwide, including twelve gold albums, four platinum albums, and one double-platinum album. Born in Delight, Arkansas, Campbell began his professional career as a studio musician in Los Angeles, spending several years playing with the group of instrumentalists later known as " The Wrecking Crew". Epic Records is an American record label owned by Sony Music Entertainment, a subsidiary of Sony Corporation of America, the North American division of Japanese conglomerate Sony. ''Waitin' for the Sun to Shine'' is the third studio album from Ricky Skaggs. It was released in 1981 on Epic Records. Skaggs himself produced the album, and played on all the songs. Four of the ten tracks were released as singles; "Don't Get Above Your Raisin'" peaked at number 16 on the U.S. Country charts, while charting at number 47 in Canada. The next three singles were much more successful. "You May See Me Walkin'" got to number nine in the U.S., and reached number 16 in Canada, while "Cryin' My Heart Out Over You" and "I Don't Care" were both number one hits in the U.S. (while reaching number 3 & 2, respectively, in Canada). The album itself went to number 2 on the country charts in the States and went gold. It was also his first time on the pop charts, where the album went to number 77. Homespun Music Instruction
Homespun offers music instruction for many instruments and styles on CD, DVD and streaming media. History Happy Traum's inspiration for Homespun came in 1967, when he was a musician and part-time guitar teacher in New York City. When he moved to Woodstock, New York and began to tour with his brother Artie Traum, he made tapes (based on his 1965 book ''Fingerpicking Styles for Guitar'') for his guitar students to use when he was unavailable. He also received letters from others who wanted to learn to play, so he made more tapes and sold them via classified advertisements in ''Guitar Player'', ''Rolling Stone'', and ''Sing Out!'' magazines.
