Brownstock Music Festival
The Brownstock Music Festival is a music festival held annually at Morris Farm in Chelmsford, Essex. The festival, held over three days annually since 2005, attracts thousands of visitors each year. It was operated by Count of Ten Ltd (Y Not Festival, Truck Festival, Tramlines) which is now owned by Global Radio. The festival started small, but now has 4 separate stages and 23 festival areas. The festival takes pride in its independent and homegrown roots. For example, Aberdeen Angus beef from the farm being the only beef you can buy at the festival and the family hand-make many of the festival decorations. The 2016 Festival took place on the weekend of the 8–10 July. Athlete (band)
Athlete was an English indie rock band formed in Deptford, London, comprising Joel Pott (lead vocals and guitar), Carey Willetts (bass and backing vocals), Stephen Roberts (drums and backing vocals), Tim Wanstall (keyboards) and Alexander PJ Elkins (backing vocals). The band had a brief period of high-profile domestic success in which their debut album ''Vehicles & Animals'' (2003) was a platinum seller in 2005 and Mercury Music Prize nomination. Duke Dumont
Adam George Dyment (born August 1981), better known by his stage name Duke Dumont, is an English DJ and record producer. He is best known for his hit singles "Need U (100%)" "I Got U", " Ocean Drive" and " Won't Look Back" which both reached number one and number two on the UK Singles Chart respectively. He founded the record label called Blasé Boys Club and has also used it as an alias for production. He has remixed a number of songs, including several which have charted in the United Kingdom. Hadouken! are a British band formed in London in 2006 by singer, writer and producer James Smith and synth player Alice Spooner along with guitarist Daniel "Pilau" Rice, bassist Christopher Purcell and drummer Nick Rice. The Pigeon Detectives are an English indie rock band from Rothwell in Leeds, West Yorkshire, who formed in 2004. The band have released five albums from 2007 to present. They performed at the Reading and Leeds Festivals in 2006, where they were tagged "the band most likely to leap to the main stage in 2007" in an ''NME'' review. Jaguar Skills is a British DJ who since 2002 has performed multi-genre, cut-n-paste style DJ mixes.
