Shades of brown can be produced by combining red, yellow, and black pigments, or by a combination of orange and black—illustrated in the color box. The RGB color model, that generates all colors on computer and television screens, makes brown by combining red and green light at different intensities. Brown color names are often imprecise, and some shades, such as beige, can refer to lighter rather than darker shades of yellow and red. Browns is a fashion boutique based in London, England. It was founded by Joan Burstein and husband Sidney in 1970. The flagship store was on London's South Molton Street but after 50 years moved to Brook Street in May 2021. In 2015, Browns was acquired by Portuguese online fashion company Farfetch. History Joan Burstein founded Browns with her late husband, Sidney, in 1970. Initially a small boutique housed on the ground floor at 27 South Molton Street, Browns grew rapidly expanding through five connecting Georgian townhouses. Their daughter Caroline Burstein founded Molton Brown before joining Browns as creative director in 1993. Their son Simon Burstein became CEO. Tammie Brown is the stage name of Keith Glen Schubert (born September 15, 1980), an American drag performer, reality television personality, and recording artist. Brown was a fixture in the Southern California drag scene before appearing on the first season of ''RuPaul's Drag Race'' and '' RuPaul's Drag Race: All Stars''. Early life Keith Glen Schubert was born to Constance Marie “Conie” Rowe and Keith H. Schubert at Corpus Christi Memorial Hospital on September 15, 1980, in Corpus Christi, Texas, but was raised in Fulton, Texas. He also lived in Mathis, Texas for a short time during junior high. Edward And Elaine Brown
Edward Lewis Brown (born 1942) and his wife, Elaine Alice Brown (born ), residents of the state of New Hampshire, gained national news media attention as tax protesters in early 2007 for refusing to pay the Income tax in the United States, U.S. federal income tax and subsequently refusing to surrender to Federal government of the United States, federal government agents after having been convicted of tax crimes. After the conviction and sentencing, a long, armed standoff with federal law enforcement authorities at their New Hampshire residence ended with the arrest of Edward and Elaine Brown on October 4, 2007. In July 2009, while serving their sentences for the tax crimes, the Browns were found guilty by a federal district court jury of additional criminal charges arising from their conduct during the standoff.
