''My Annoying Brother'' (; lit. "Older Brother") is a 2016 South Korean comedy drama film starring Jo Jung-suk, Doh Kyung-soo and Park Shin-hye. It was released in South Korea by CJ Entertainment on November 23, 2016. The film topped local box office and hit more than one million views within four days of its release. The film reached 3 million views in mid December. The film was released in Japan on May 19, 2017. Plot National Judo athlete Doo-young (Doh Kyung-soo) damages his optic nerves during an international event and loses his sight permanently. His older brother Doo-shik (Jo Jung-suk) who has been estranged from Doo-young, takes advantage of his brother's sudden crisis to get paroled from prison. Jo Jung-suk
Jo Jung-suk (born December 26, 1980) is a South Korean actor. He began his career in theater, starring in '' Spring Awakening'', '' Hedwig and the Angry Inch'', and the stage adaptation of ''The Harmonium in My Memory'', among many other musicals and plays. After nearly a decade on the stage, Jo made his film debut as a comedic supporting actor in the 2012 box office hit ''Architecture 101'', which became his breakout role. Jeon Ki-young
Jeon Ki-young (전기영, born 11 July 1973 in Cheongju, Chungcheongbuk-do) is a retired judoka who competed in the -78 kg and -86 kg divisions. Jeon has won three consecutive world championships (1993, 1995 & 1997), twice beating the Hidehiko Yoshida in dramatic fashion in the finals. He has also won six world cup titles. The crowning moment in Jeon's judo career came in winning the gold medal in the men's middleweight division at the 1996 Olympics in Atlanta, U.S. He defeated Armen Bagdasarov of Uzbekistan in the final match by ippon.
