Brooke House College Football Academy
The Brooke House College Football Academy is an association football academy in Market Harborough. History The Brooke House College Football Academy was formed in 2008, with eleven initial players on the course, led by manager Ben Watts. The students, who now number over 150, study at the Brooke House College during the mornings, with a focus on football in the afternoons. Initially only accepting male applicants, the college opened its footballing programme to female footballers in 2019. Though the fees for the college can be upwards of £40,000 per year, the college offers scholarships based on footballing ability. The Brooke House College FA has links to a number of other academies across the world, most notably the Pepsi Football Academy in Nigeria and the Right to Dream Academy in Ghana. Market Harborough
Market Harborough is a market town in the Harborough district of Leicestershire, England, in the far southeast of the county, forming part of the border with Northamptonshire. Market Harborough's population was 25,143 in 2020. It is the administrative headquarters of the larger Harborough District. The town was formerly at a crossroads for both road and rail; however, the A6 now bypasses the town to the east and the A14 which carries east-west traffic is to the south. Kirsty Ann Linnett (born 24 September 1993) is an English former professional footballer who last played as a forward for Liverpool. Linnett also played for Birmingham City, Notts County and Reading at club level, and she represented England on the U-15, U-17, U-19, and U-23 national teams. Petar Ivo Vitanov ( bg, Петър Иво Витанов; born 10 March 1995) is a Bulgarian professional footballer who plays as a midfielder for Challenger Pro League club Beveren. Kaloyan Somov
Kaloyan or Kalojan, also known as Ioannitsa or Johannitsa ( bg, Калоян, Йоаница; 1170 – October 1207), was emperor or tsar of Bulgaria from 1196 to 1207. He was the younger brother of Theodor and Asen, who led the anti-Byzantine uprising of the Bulgarians and Vlachs in 1185. The uprising ended with the restoration of Bulgaria as an independent state. He spent a few years as a hostage in Constantinople in the late 1180s. Theodor, crowned Emperor Peter II, made him his co-ruler after Asen was murdered in 1196.
