The discography of Brooke Fraser, a singer-songwriter from New Zealand, consists of four studio albums, two compilation albums, nine singles, and nine music videos. The eldest daughter of All Black Bernie Fraser, she was musically active throughout her childhood, and was signed to Sony BMG in 2002. Her first single was "Better", which peaked at number three on the New Zealand Singles Chart. "Better" was included on her first album, ''What to Do with Daylight'', which was released in 2003. Debuting at number one on the New Zealand Albums Chart, the album was eventually certified seven times platinum in New Zealand. Brooke Gabrielle Ligertwood (née Fraser; born 15 December 1983) better known by her maiden name Brooke Fraser, is a New Zealand singer and songwriter best known for her hit single " Something in the Water", released in 2010. Fraser released two studio albums ''What to Do with Daylight'' (2003) and '' Albertine'' (2006) through Columbia Records before signing a recording contract with Wood + Bone. Her third studio album, '' Flags'', was released in 2010 and is her most successful album to date. Her most recent album, ''Brutal Romantic'', was released in November 2014 through Vagrant Records. Fraser became a member of the Australian Christian music group Hillsong Worship from 2005 to 2010; she rejoined the group in 2016 since she was the songwriter and lead vocalist for the Grammy winning song "What a Beautiful Name", which was credited under her married name Brooke Ligertwood. It was released by Sony Music Entertainment in New Zealand on 2 August 2010 and subsequently became her first chart-topper, reaching number one in October. ''Flags'' is the third studio album by New Zealand singer and songwriter, Brooke Fraser. It was released on 8 October 2010 by Sony Music Entertainment in Australia. Fraser undertook a concert tour in New Zealand, North America, the United Kingdom and Australia to promote the album. The album has been commercially successful in Australia and New Zealand, peaking at No. 3 and No. 1 on the charts of those countries respectively. "Albertine" is a song by singer-songwriter Brooke Fraser, and the third single from her second studio album, '' Albertine''. It was largely inspired by a Rwandan orphan, by the name of Albertine, whom Fraser met while there in 2005. "Albertine" did not appear on any record chart, but it won Fraser the annual APRA Silver Scroll. Background and release Fraser went to Rwanda on behalf of World Vision in 2005, the first of many trips. While there, she met a girl named Albertine, who had become orphaned by the genocide of 1994. Fraser described Albertine as "tall and beautiful". Her guide, Joel, took her to a village school in Kabuga district, and showed her a girl whose life the guide had personally saved. The ''Weekend 22'' (abbreviated as ''W22'') is a Christian music countdown. It is a syndicated show that is broadcast nationwide in the United States and heard in over 150 cities across the country. The show is produced and syndicated worldwide by Amped Creative. Christian Care Ministry's Medi-Share is the main sponsor for the show. "Deciphering Me" is artist/songwriter Brooke Fraser's sixth single, and her first single from her second studio album '' Albertine''. The song debuted on the New Zealand Singles Chart at number forty on 23 October 2006 and on 4 December 2006, peaked at number four. It remained on the chart for a total of twenty two non-consecutive weeks, nine of them being in the top ten. The single includes two B-sides, a live piano backed version of the title track and a demo track, "Day Is Dimming". Both were recorded at Sony Studios in Sydney. Deciphering Me was performed live on the current affairs show ''Close Up'' on 1 December. During the preceding interview, Fraser stated that the song is about "vulnerability and trust".
